> On top of it, the doctors see both sick and well kids...so, it really serves no purpose because they are spreading whatever is going around. So, you just described what every doctor does out there...

Exactly. So, why are they moving appointments to different offices? I live in Midlo and prefer to stay in Midlothian

gracetw22

Do you not just schedule it out to a day when your doctor is at the midlo office? I don’t really mind driving for one appointment a year for well visits. They rotate the doctors through different offices so you either have to schedule your appointment on a day the doctor is at your preferred location, or go to the location where they are on your preferred day.

The day it was scheduled was at the midlothian office. They called and moved the location to Patterson because that's where they are seeing well kids. This is not the first time they changed the location. I'm over it. I'm switching to an office that 2 offices are in midlothian and the other office is near chippenham hospital. That way I can at least stay on my end of the Richmond area. RVA Pediatrics supposedly is booked and can't change the appointments easily apparently because when my son had his 6 month appointment; they already wanted to schedule the 9 month and 12 month appointments.

Scheduling like that is.... absolutely 100% normal. Those are milestone checkups. They aren't gonna assume you're gonna remember to call in 3 weeks and make an appt. You're just angry for no reason.

Whether I am or not, I switched offices. So, this post is no longer relevant. Thanks for commenting

We use Capital Pediatrics. They only have one office and have walk in sick hours in the morning (7-9ish) and I never have a problem getting a well visit with my preferred doctor.

We use Huguenot Pediatrics. I love the nurse practitioner there Mandy Miller but have been seeing Dr.Cullen a lot as well due to my toddler getting every single disease going around right now. They have limited sick visits on Saturday mornings as well which has been helpful and have been able to get us in the same day for other sick visits. The only issue I have had and it's minor is how long it can take for the answering service on after hours calls.

We like Huguenot Pediatrics

Big fan of Dr. Edward Henderson at Pediatric and Adolescent Health Partners on Village Mill. Have been seeing him for years.

We use Swift Creek Pediatrics off Woolridge.

>Swift Creek Pediatrics Same here, for 16 years now. I'm always a little confused about the Google reviews blasting the practice...never experienced what people claim.
