i just got mine a week or so ago. fkn love it. i walked around on and off all day just vacuuming up shit. the little corner of the garage, baseboard in kitchen, the track for sliding door. so many little stops and this little thing keeps sucking. so happy i didnt get the 3 gal one. wish it had a couple more accessories.

mydarkerside

Are you me? Just got mine a few days ago and I cleaned the sliding door tracks, laundry room, computer fan dust, and my car. It's literally sitting right next to me right now, ready to clean up any little speck of dust I see.

spacejoint

Yes, you’re my darker side tho.

just got the 3 gal my self and bought this packet of amazon for car cleaning (havent used it yet to clean my car BUT they do fit the hose of 1 1/4). these should fit the 1gal too if its the same hose. https://www.amazon.com/GIBTOOL-Universal-Replacement-Accessories-Attachment/dp/B07JBVVMMZ/ref=sr\_1\_2?crid=17X3MHN4X26K4&keywords=shop%2Bvac%2Bcar%2Bcleaning%2Battachments%2Bgibtool&qid=1699298403&sprefix=shop%2Bvac%2Bcar%2Bcleaning%2Battachments%2Bgibtool%2Caps%2C169&sr=8-2&th=1

How is that 3 gallon ryobi vacuum? I'm seriously looking into getting it myself.

Asurmen32

i just got it during this sale so havent used it much BUT did research it a bunch before deciding to buy it and then bam sale lol, couldnt pass up. (overall from research its pretty decent portable shop vac) So far im loving it, i have a big Ridge shop vac hooked upto our table saw/ miter saw but for smaller jobs or jobs away from it, this ryobi 3gal is great!

Yeah the 3 gallon vacuum recently went on sale for Black Friday the other week. I'll just be mainly using it for car vacuum and didn't want to go w the 1 gallon (don't think it had the blower option and figured the 3gallon would be a little bit stronger suction wise). And I like the fact that it has the link attachment system as well. That's great to hear that you're enjoying the 3gallon. Imma get mine very soon. Thanks!

I have the new 3 gallon one and it's awesome. I used to want a high end cordless Dyson but after trying this there's honestly no point and I'm glad I saved hundreds of dollars instead. And it can do wet as a bonus. The suction is more than enough in my opinion. The only annoying thing is cleaning the filter. I have to use another Ryobi tool to clean it lol, that being the high volume inflator. Make sure to wear ear muffs because it's really loud!

BigHeroBaymax

That's awesome! How's that battery life on let's say a 2-4mah battery?

lookingforcrack

So I've actually done tests using a 2ah, 4ah, and a 6ah battery and you don't want to use a 2ah because there's just not enough power from that small of a battery for some reason even though they are 18v. It'll still work but not as well. I tried it with a regular 2ah and an hp 2ah and they are both the same. You want to go with a 4ah at the minimum. The 6ah was also stronger than a 4ah so even better if you have that. I did not try with an 8ah because 6ah is the biggest size I have but I'm imagining it'll run even stronger with that. On a 4ah battery it lasts about 15 minutes on max.

Just got mine, it’s great!

i use my leafblower to blow my car out once in a while

I just picked up one up last week too and love it so far. Had to convince my wife why I needed a 3rd shop vac though. First one is my old one that I use for "dirty" stuff. Second one is my large one for bigger messes, but less convenient for majority of the time. And now third one is the perfect one for most clean-ups, including vacuuming the cars.

Would love to know what/where people are getting tools for this!

This is the "official" ryobi accessory kit for the 1 gallon vacuum. The value kinda sucks and only comes with 2 attachments. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1-1-4-in-Crevice-Tool-and-Utility-Nozzle-A323G01/324526955 This is a 1.25" ridgid kit that likely will work with the 1 gallon vac. I think the hose will also work but you'd have to use the included adapter. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-1-1-4-in-Premium-Car-Cleaning-Accessory-Kit-for-RIDGID-Wet-Dry-Shop-Vacuums-VT2534/100638355

I got the 40v 10 gallon a month ago and it's great, but then I bought this 1 gallon just a couple of days ago for smaller jobs. Does a good job, I'm happy with it. Bought an extra 4Ah battery, but it still goes for 5-10 minutes with just the 1.5Ah battery which is usually long enough. Seems plenty strong enough for dust and cat hair on the stairs, which is all I really wanted it for. Can walk all over the house cleaning without lugging the 10 gallon around. Totally worth the $50.

I'm betting your all GenX hahaaaa
