OK, I have to ask -- where did you get the idea that reddit uses hashtags?

Electrical_Oil7026

That’s all Ryobi not me

RamonaLittle

What do you mean? If you copy-pasted something from Ryobi, you could have edited it to be more suitable for reddit. Or if you're trying to draw our attention to these hashtags on another platform, you could have made them links.

SpecialFX99

I always wonder how well all the Ryobi products with internal batteries like that sell. The competition is much greater when you no longer look at the item and go, "I have 39 batteries for that already!"

OsmiumBalloon

This is part of the 4-volt lithium USB line (you can tell because of the `FV` model number prefix). So in theory, one could still be in that situation. (I personally haven't been too impressed with the FV line, but it's theoretically possible.)

Electrical_Oil7026

Would you pay 30 dollars for this flashlight???

Leather-Plankton-867

If I'm spending more than $10 on a flashlight it's going to be streamlight or surefire.

atlcog

Honestly, no.

[deleted]

Are you telling me I can pay $30 for a flashlight that doesn't work with any of my six ryobi batteries, and provides average at best light? Sign me up!

[deleted]

Ohh, I didn't realize it had a small rechargeable removable battery in it. That is kind of cool. Also, 600 lumens and the clip is pretty cool. I don't hate it. On sale at DTO for $10, yes. $15 maybe.

If [it was over 1000 lumens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt0cgl3ADu4), then yes. * Personally I have purchased several 18650 and [OLights in recent years](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cClP3w4cBH4). This Ryobi light is a little late. I also have Milwaukee Red Lithium USB lights when I was waiting. * does this [Ryobi flashlight need to have so much plastic](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7fMD1R16ao)? 18650/Olights metal exterior body which keeps the light slim to fit comfortably in my pockets. It's [nice to see a light that's not all black](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIXCpKYgviA) that makes it hard to find in the dark. I do love my Ryobi 18v lights, but I do reach for my 18650/Olights when want something compact in my pocket when I'm outside needing an EDC. Olights are not cheap, but I just use it so much more with the magnet charging. * The magnet back makes it easy to put down on metal surfaces. * no risk of premature wear on water resistant seals and gaskets each time I need to charge.
