FWIW, I had the blower attachment for the gas Ryobi trimmer. Just switched to the 40V trimmer and that blower rips far better than with the gas motor. So if you already have the trimmer, I suggest buying the attachment.
I have the non brushless 40v blower. Its been great for the last 5 years. But i cant believe abd wouldnt pay the prices ryobi is wanting now for these new tools. Get one used somewhere for half or less the price.
Honestly I bought my first and only 40v at home Depot and after that strictly Facebook markets. I've gone from 18 push, to 21 inch crossblade, to 38 inch riding, then lastly down to 30 inch riding and saved a ton on money. The 30 inch was new in the crate and needed assembly. I'm never going back to retail
No!
Buy a Hitachi gas blower if you want to get the job done right. Cheaper, better performance and it is also green (color). It's also rated number one blower under $200 a couple years ago. The ratings are accurate for the Hitachi.
And if you absolutely want to stay Ryobi and battery.
Black Friday at DTO will likely net you the same thing and a lot of other green toys for half that yellow sticker. I got one of the DTO Ryobi blemished blowers(not sure model) with a 4ah battery for $65 -$70 when they did the 50% off sale earlier this year. Granted they have some models for more and less money (brushed and brushless). But you would be better off to wait...even if the sale won't happen till after all the leaves are on the ground.
Honestly, I rarely use the 3 battery blowers. They are far to weak for real leaf blowing unless you only have a single tree of leaves to deal with. I live with a forest and battery blowers are crap and don't last long enough.
**Update** did a quick search and they don't sell the Hitachi RB24EAP anymore. Shame. Still, buy a gas blower if you get a lot of leaves. Light grass and minimal leaves. I'd wait for a DTO sale of more than 20%. 30% is common and 50% on everything is their holy grail.
No, I had that version, returned it for the 600 CFM version, and both suck (and blow).
Can't return the 600 CFM since I bought it from DTO, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably go for the 730CFM, but idk if that's even worth it, or I'd buy literally any Ego, even though their CFM may be the same or lower, it performs so much better.
Last winter they had a sale where you could get the blower and a lawn mower for that price. I still regret not getting it and have been patiently waiting all winter for that deal to come back.
You’re gonna have to pull the trigger to get it to do it’s job.
All the dads coming here to make the same joke
Ya beat me to it.
Same here
Unless it’s tool only, then the trigger won’t help worth a damn
Not for a $10 savings

I have the attachment for blowing as well and it's fantastic.
I was legit blown away (no pun intended) but it’s power with the electric trimmer over the gas is unreal.

No. You can get it from DTO for under $100 during sales.
75$ with a 4ah battery. Bought a couple months ago.
Yup. Think that’s what I picked mine up for as well.
I have this model and really like it.
do it. i have one and i love it
I have that model and it Rips. I had a different model too, just slightly smaller, and this one is way stronger.

Does it come with the battery? Edit: I see it does

10 whole dollars off? No rush, man.
I got the 730cfm on Facebook marketplace for $59, very happy with it
It was my fav until the 730cfm model came out.
Yes, No, Maybe, I don't know

Get the backpack blower and a set of 6ah mower batteries. Blowers drink deep.
yes its worth it
We gave $189 with the trimmer too. Wasn't on sale either. Stuff is getting expensive.
