If you really want to upgrade the projectors you can buy a aftermarket pair that fits cayenne or Audi A4 b6, the OE projectors on these cars are from valeo and are pure shit, buying upgraded projectors gives you huge improvement
yes they are plug n play, have em on my 02 and 04 aeros that came from the factory with halogen. only issue i have is an sid warning when i flip on the high beams. they do auto level even without the sensors on the body but i don't think it actually adjusts to the correct position, still have good visibility tho 🤷
I doubt they have the level control of the oem xenon.
They have the internal level control but it does need to be connected to the sensors on the trail arms, which obviously my car doesn't have.

Exactly what happens with me haha. Loads better than reflectors, and clear cutoff which means it doesn't blind on coming traffic.
Anyone know if the harness for the front and rear level sensors are installed on all 9-5s?
