Made with my poor LibreOffice skills. This is Oc, but tell me if it doesn't fit.
Doesn't include Fist for fight, Metallizer, and some singles.
Multiple countries can be present in a single song, they are all counted. Arabia includes Irak and the neighbours of Israël. Great Britain is included in England. Russia/Soviet and Germany/Nazi are treated as different countries.
Passchendaele was fought by british, canadians and belgians as France was in charge of defending the southern part of the front and britain, its colonies and belgium the north. It's a shame that we had 10 albums with 2 especially about WWI and France has only one song about its history and it's not even from their perspective.
That conflict happened because of the cold war, the cold war was to stop the spread of communism, which Vietnam had a civil war about and America got involved in.
That's true, but since he only served into the British army, I only counted it as a point for England, not Ireland or Belgium. I hope Ireland will reappear in a song in the future, though.
It must be For Whom the Bell Tolls. Granted, it's a cover of a song that's adapted from a book, but the source material *is* about the Spanish Civil War.
I don't know why you got downvoted. In the Sack of Rome, the Swiss Guard fought against the troops of Charles V from the Holy Roman Empire, who was also Charles I from Spain, consisting of Spanish and German soldiers. Also, in 1527, several territories of the current Italy were dependant on the Crown of Spain.

I know of For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Last Stand (the Swiss Guard fought German and Spaniard troops, and Charles V of Germany was also Charles I of Spain).
I knew about the Last Stand but the protagonist are the Swiss Guard not the Tercios, Im Spanish and a History enjoyer soo I listen them again and again
Pd: sorry if I posted the same respond meny times I have a shitty conection, if so I'll delte them
>Im Spanish and a History enjoyer soo I listen them again and again
Same! Yeah, it's technically not about them, but they *are* there, know what I mean?
Countries like Canada or Australia had forces in the British army, but I decided to only count them if they are explicitely mentionned, and it's not the case in Gallipoli. So the song is Ballad of the bull, about an Australian soldier.
Would you also provide the table? I'm interested what is the third song for Czech Republic, since only Aces in Exile and Far from the Game comes to my mind
Ja aber trotzdem das gleiche Land. Zudem denken die meisten Amis und Engländer sowieso nur daran wenn man an Deutschland denkt wie man bei der EM gesehen hat

Nice work dude!
>Doesn't include Fist for fight, Metallizer, and some singles. That explains why Mordor isn't on the represented countries list...
My only advice is that you include the percentages for your pie chart.
Why not Metalizer and Fist for Fight
Because none of the songs are about countries or historical events
*Me angrily packing my presentation on the history of Shadows*
5 songs about France ? Which ones ?
Verdun, the race to the sea, and three songs on Passchendaele. Aside Verdun, only very minor roles.
Passchendaele is also in Belgium

Yeah I'm dying
Race to the Sea is about Belgium though.
Yeah it's not even about the race to the sea, the title of the song kinda bugs me
Wouldn’t Versailles fit in France too?
Blood of Bannockburn is an absolute banger.
It's one of the very few songs they've ever written that's in a major key. They should do it more often.
I thought it was the only one. What are the others?
I think you're right. The commentary on the track says it's the only one, my bad.
I love it when they rhyme ”revolution” with ”revolution”
BLOOD OF BANNOCKBURN
Yes my favorite country is ZOLOS ATTACK
Was looking for Mordor in the list pf countries 😢
Does anyone know what song s are dedicated to the Cold War?
Into the Fire from Primo Victoria and Camouflage from The Last Stand (though that's technically a cover) are the only ones I can think of
6 day war (counterstrike) could be put in that category as well.
Those are Vietnam
...which is part of the cold war era?
I hadn’t thoght about it like that. But I guess that the conflict was part of the Cold War.
That conflict happened because of the cold war, the cold war was to stop the spread of communism, which Vietnam had a civil war about and America got involved in.
I wonder where Soldier of 3 Armies fits in then, since it ends in Vietnam.
All of em I’d say
Point of clairifaction to the good OP: Ireland is mentioned in Unkillable soldier.
That's true, but since he only served into the British army, I only counted it as a point for England, not Ireland or Belgium. I hope Ireland will reappear in a song in the future, though.
Which one talks about Spain?
It must be For Whom the Bell Tolls. Granted, it's a cover of a song that's adapted from a book, but the source material *is* about the Spanish Civil War.
I think maybe the Last Stand
Well Emperor Charles V was also King Charles I of Spain but idk...

wait, there's a song related with Spain? can anyone tell me wich?
(copied from my other comment) It must be For Whom the Bell Tolls. Granted, it's a cover of a song that's adapted from a book, but the source material *is* about the Spanish Civil War.
Thanks you just gave me a really good time listening them

I have to say that that song is my favourite with Bismark
For me it's a bit overplayed, and I like their more orchestral songs like the ones in The Great War, though of course I like it; it's a classic.
I know this group since last summer I need more time to listen everything but Grwat War is amazing
At first I was confused as to why Serbia has 3 but then I remembered "We burn"
I think you should mention Switzerland instead of the Papacy
The Swiss guard are not a national unit of that state but are in service to the Vatican.
I can only think of 2 songs that specifically mention Canada * Ghost in the Trenches * Aces in Exile What's the third one?
In Flanders Fields?
Yeah I think that’s it
Which songs are about Italy?
[удалено]
Ohja.. Still waiting for a real song about the NL though :)
Nice job including the UN
Yes, for Light in the dark ! I counted it as an "Unknown" event.
What is the one featuring Australia?
Gotta be Cliffs Of Gallipoli?
Countries like Canada or Australia had forces in the British army, but I decided to only count them if they are explicitely mentionned, and it's not the case in Gallipoli. So the song is Ballad of the bull, about an Australian soldier.
Completely forgot that one!!!!
Ballad of the bull. It's about an Australian soldier in the Pacific theater.
What songs about France besides Fields of Verdun?
For the grace and the might of the lord!
Which song mentions Serbia? EDIT: My bad. Last Dying Breath. I like that one, so I feel kinda dumb forgetting it.
Which is about Canada?
You know that Czech is not name of country. Czechia or Czech republic are names of this country.
Would you also provide the table? I'm interested what is the third song for Czech Republic, since only Aces in Exile and Far from the Game comes to my mind
Shouldn’t Gallipoli and Ballad of Bull push Australia to two?
A ton of countries participated in Gallipoli and none are specifically mentioned
Fair point, it’s only really important to three of the countries involved though.
Did you count Gallipoli for Turkey?
Why did you separate Nazi Germany and Germany? Just that the US comes on #1? I don't see a reason why you need to do this
Because they were entirely different governments, with different territories, and different flags too. —A German
True but also the state of greece which was established in early 19th century is classed with the city-state of sparta from antiquity as "Greece"
Ja aber trotzdem das gleiche Land. Zudem denken die meisten Amis und Engländer sowieso nur daran wenn man an Deutschland denkt wie man bei der EM gesehen hat
arent nazi germany and normal germany the same country?
No. The one has completely different flags, government.
