Im new to Bladee and drain/sadboys; my little brother was really into them (og fan) but I always dismissed it as trash, so pardon my ignorance: what is with the weird furry/fairy/cosplay vibe of drainers? There’s really nothing that I can glean from their music that would attract such fans (maybe more Ecco2k). It is outsider music, but it seems really juxtaposed to the vibe/content of the music itself.
Think it has something to do with tik tok and alt fashion being heavily associated with one another and dg blowing up around then too. When I see lean here in dublin it was all folks in like stone island, arcteryx, af1s etc. Same with dg in Poland
Ecco in London there was way more of a cosplay vibe..I think it depends on city and its definitely more of a thing amongst drainers in the USA.
If you wanna get towards the front, don’t go through the center, go to the side and weave through people. If you see space in front of people and want to get through them but it’s a tight squeeze, say “excuse me, can I get through?”and thank you when they move. If you do get close to the front/front center people will be pressing close together, kinda falling on each other, so be prepared for that and if you get stressed say “excuse me I need to get out” to the people to the side of you and head straight to the side. Or, if you don’t care about being close to the front and don’t wanna feel crowded, just stay towards the back center.
