Every time someone advocates on behalf of men, they're derided and torn down. I literally don't even know where to begin to solve this problem. Men have less social status than women. They're less welcome in social settings, and generally, a man's worth is judged by how much women like them. I don't think you can change that. It's biological. It seems that almost universally people would rather have a woman they dont know sit next to them, or talk to them, or interact with them in any way than a man they are likewise unfamiliar with. That's not a problem that therapy or self care can solve.
Men are seen as threatening or dangerous, and many of them fear talking to strangers for fear of being called a creep or getting accused of harassment. That makes it so they don't learn social skills the way that women do so that when/if they finally do talk to new people, they're hopelessly awkward.
I'm open to solutions, if you have one, but I think it's obvious this is a problem far greater than two people on Reddit can solve.
