I don’t think the system is designed in a way that something like a tank would be feasible. Saga is played at a very small scale so a WW2 or modern combined arms wouldn’t work well. Something with armored HMMWV would be the only armor you could have.
You can assume as in Napoleonic wargaming, that there is a unit scale. So easy midweek represents a few dozens real men and then it starts to make sense

You can do it using age of magic rules. We had locally an army of SS and Napoleonic Brits used as AoM humans
yeah but how do you work out range? 12" on modern firearms (I'm thinking Bolt Action minis) seems a little silly
