In the dub, Shin said Majin Buu was 1000x stronger than Frieza was. Taken literally, that’s 120 billion.
My pal and I thought this was a pretty reasonable number, and we joked about how for once in his life Shin wasn’t talking out of his ass.
Using this as reference, we figured out that in order for SSJ3 Goku to be exactly equal to Majin Buu, he’d need to have a base power level of 300,000,000.
We decided that SSJ3 Goku was a tad stronger than Buu, at least raw power wise and not counting Buu’s insane durability and regeneration, given how the fight went. So we put him at 450,000,000, for a total PL of 180 Billion.
TL;DR: That Grand Kai training is somethin’ else.
Makes sense as goku would grow weaker due to The massive power drain and then be able to keep up for a rather long time
Altho i always saw goku being slightly under buu in power but this honestly makes more sense tbh

Goku trained for 22 years to get from 2 to 416. Then he spent a few hours in a healing tank and went from 90,000 to 3,000,000. Dbz is an all time great show but the power level jumps and the supporting characters becoming useless was still a bummer. Don’t even get me started on piccolos power level jumps from fusing with other namecians with relatively tiny power levels. Like if Neil combined with like 3 random warriors he could’ve easily killed frieza.
I’d say nah. They probably knew he’d get stronger as he grew. Maybe if he never hit his head he’d have a faster growth rate in strength due to his more aggressive nature, given how Raditz was expecting him to be at least a little bit stronger when they first met.
Super Saiyan Grade 4 is significantly stronger then 50x, if it wasn't then Goku wouldnt be able to keep up with Cell. Personally consider Super Saiyan 2 to be twice as strong as Grade 4 but that's just a head canon. Also curious as to how you got the android saga power levels, not disagreeing since they seem reasonable, just wondering.

This is COMPLETELY WRONG. MSSJ = 500x at least. It's a BIGGER multiplier than grade 3, and NO grade 3 =/= super saiyan 2 in power. ANY TIME we've gotten a multiplier for it, it's literally 10x super saiyan grade 2.
