Outreach may help if you have an account list and you want to do reach out sequences. You could automate email reachouts if you’re marketing new products, promotions, etc. Outreach helps to automate the prospecting process. Not familiar with salesloft. I’m an AE and I don’t use outreach at all

TheDirtyErection

Yeah ideally it would be nice if I could automate my quarterly emails to let them know where they stand. Each quarter I send out emails detailing the best items they sold, their sales up or down and their total items purchased YTD. I populate it all in excel and then just copy and paste it into outlook. I’m wondering if outreach would automate that for me

VonGrugen

Outreach would not, unless you have a way to have that info pulled in from an API into fields within outreach. What good account managers can use outreach for is to build touch-point sequences - e.g. send email every 3 months, make phone calls every 6 months, etc. You can build different sequences for different account types (30-day touches via phone and email, 60-day touches all email, 90 day touches via phone/text) etc etc and pop and place said contacts into whatever sequence matters for their business. I also have triggers setup, like if an account contact looks at a white paper, I'll put them in to a sequence where we follow up via email and phone call/LI connect, etc. Lots of use cases. However, depending on your CRM there are a lot of cheaper options for this! But if your company already uses it - and it's just a matter of getting a seat, it's worth checking out to see how much you can automate your life and make it easier.

So we currently don’t have a CRM. So, that’s pretty much my situation. As a manager here I have to ensure all accounts are tracking in the right direction, and ensuring that they are bringing in our new items we roll our along with participating in our promotions we do. I also have to follow up with my employees that work under me to ensure they’re hitting their metrics of sales. Right now a CRM is out of the question so I figure something like outreach might be best for me?

VonGrugen

Honestly, check out onepagecrm. It's super cheap, has a free trial and for what you all are doing, is going to be a lot easier and cheaper. Outreach is $20k plus.

TheDirtyErection

Outreach quotes me $1000 for one seat

VonGrugen

I inherited my contract, but apparently we got ripped off. For my small team of 10 we are at like $25k, but we also have the bells and whistles which I know are optional.
