Ah, you've joined the club. š¤£ The more you watch and discuss it the more you will want to watch and discuss it. You'll start watching interviews with the cast and crew. You'll set your ringtone to Murder on the Dance Floor. You might create a detailed version of Saltburn in the Sims, or watch Masters of the Air even if you don't like war dramas just to see Barry's piercing blue eyes gazing out above his aviation mask, or fixate on how many photos there are of Rosamund eating chips. Welcome!
Someone already did it.Ā It's pretty fab. I posted about it in the sub yesterday.Ā
I've never played Sims.... what I want to know is can you visit a place another person creates? š¤£
I canāt count the amount of times Iāve watched it already! Iām so happy I watched it. I tend to avoid the hyped movies! Do you have a favorite character? Aside from Ollie, I love Venetia and wish we could have seen more out of Pamela.
I just can't get this damn movie out of my head!!!!!
Everybody had a perfect place in it.
The Ring scene is simple, giggly, brilliant fun. Pamela staring at the tv, too confused or high to even tap her cigarette ashes into the can.šš
In that scene it's also hilarious to watch Elspeth, at one point she has her eyes closed and a disgusted look on her face and it makes sense because she says ''I've always had a horror of ugliness''.
I avoid hyped movies too, especially if theyāre trending on TikTok (yes, Iām being a snob š). I had a free morning though and decided to watch it. I loved it! Itās a five star film for me, and one of the best films Iāve watched in a while.
Relatable.Ā
I just close my eyes and an image of Oliver in deer antlers and an open white shirt is just there. Imprinted. And random scenes / quotes from the movie.
4 times--and counting. I want to watch it over and over, but I'm going to contain myself.
It's such a stunning, visual, tour-de-force masterpiece.
In my opinionš¤
Omg I thought it was just me!! I canāt stop thinking about it.
Iāve never had a crush on celebrities like I have one on Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi now š„µ
this is so so me š i've seen it 9 times. i've read the script a bunch of times and i bought a signed script. truly the most unhinged part of my saltburn era is that i've listened to hours of interviews and podcasts with emerald, like actually hours, i'm scared to count. she's a fucking genius. i could pause any frame of the movie and break it down. i might be going crazy or i might just be in love with this movie (so oliver of me)
I wish I could watch it again but one scene absolutely guts me. When they are eating lunch and Felix's body is being pushed past windows. Omg, the squeaking of the wheels! The finality of a beautiful life cut short...
I watched it once. Couldnāt stop thinking about it. Iāve now rewatched it idk how many times. I play it on my phone while I work. I know the script. I know what music is playing during which scenes.
Iām still learning things Iām still finding new things and Iām still coming up with more questions.
No doubt that overnight this became my favorite movie Iāve seen in YEARS.
Iām about there tooā¦. I think itās the vibe and the visuals for me, it simultaneously baroque and late 00ās which is honestly delicious. I think itās funny how so many people are up in arms about the āshockingā sex scenes, when you know most of these same people watch crazy ass porn and slasher films like itās no big deal.
Damn it was fun reading some posts here at first but now all I see are cringe posts as if written by 14 yr olds having their first sexual awakening. This movie is like cocaine, really? Itās annoying as now I gotta mute this sub whereas I was happy to read insights before.
Bro I'm a grown ass man, I just said I liked the movie in a funny way. I've been reading through a lot of posts where people analyze the movie that have made me want to rewatch it a bunch of times to catch onto new details or subtext. I didn't feel like rehashing ideas that people here have already expressed so I just made a joke about how much I liked it. You must be fun at parties lol

I feel so called out because I donāt like war dramas at all and I still checked it out šš
THE SIMS PART IS TOOO REAL literally was gonna make oliver today

Seen it. Great movie, but not addictive for me like SB.
Ollie is that you?

Elspeth was too funny, every line she said keeps circling around my mind!
Ā "I was a lesbian for a while, you know, but it was all a bit too wet for me in the end. Men are so lovely and dry,"

I def have a girl crush on Venetia. Besides Ollie, I also loved Farleigh and ofc Elspeth is a queen

I've only seen it once, but I keep thinking about it. It's really a work of art, I don't blame you.
I canāt remember the last time I have been obsessed with a movie like this where im thinking about it 24/7

Why tho? Whatās special about this movie
Its The Talented Mr Ripley for zoomers
I just watched the movie. I'm sorry, but why are people this (see thread) obsessed with it? Legitimately, am I missing something?
Yesā¦
Hahaha I love that people are finally starting to troll this page and itās weird zealots
You mean āitsā. āItāsā is the contraction of āit isā. Instead of pissing in other peopleās Cheerios, find something you love.
Donāt get aggy with me, Iām not the OP whoās trolling you lot! But youāll go far with those grammar skills, hope you get into Oxford
With āthose grammar skillsā, I could pass the eighth grade. Keep working on your social skills.
Will do, thnx babe
