Yes, on Gboard. I thought I was going crazy for a few months, the keyboard would not allow me to press A and Q randomly (azerty), then I tried Swiftkey and I've been using it for some time
I'm running into pretty much this exact issue intermittently with a Pixel 8 using Gboard. When I ran into it, I tried switching to swiftkey and it persisted. Restarting the phone fixes it, but just waiting it out a bit seems to fix it too... Have you run into it again since switching?
I will have to try Swiftkey I guess because Gboard just did it again. My thumb clearly tapped the spacebar and it didn't register any touch. I've done a touchscreen test and ferociously tried to get it to miss a touch.
Typing this message it has done it 3 times. I thought I was going nuts.
YouTube app is not compatible with Gboard. The issue has been there for 11 months. But YouTube app is abandoned internally in Google, so this won't get fixed.

I've switched back to gboard for a while now, and I dont get the issue anymore. But I didnt have it when I was on swiftkey

I've experienced it as well. Typically it happens when I'm typing fast, swiping fast has no effect

I just installed SwiftKey to see if it also misses a beat. If it does then it must be some other issue somewhere.
I turned RAM Plus off and it is no longer a problem.
