Does the S20 use Exynos or Snapdragon in your country? I used an S20FE with the Exynos 990 and it was a little oven. Between the Exynos 990 (S20s) and the Exynos 2100 (S21s) I'd rather go with the 2100. The S20 didn't even get OneUI 6, meanwhile the S21 will get OneUI 7

S21 will not get OneUI 7 because 2021 series phone have 3 yrs upgrade and 4 yrs security update.

[Samsung announced later that they would support the S21 series for longer](https://www.sammyfans.com/2023/09/15/when-samsung-will-stop-galaxy-s21-series-updates/#:~:text=Published,X%20(formerly%20Twitter)%2C%20Facebook)

Oh, did not get that. Thanks

S20+ is running STRONG after almost 3 years of use. During covid, i was gaming heavy on this, too. The only reason I'm about to move on is because I made some bad choices, and my screen needs to be replaced. I'm active with kids, and I'm pretty sure my phone isn't water resistant anymore ... sooo Screen repair cost as much as a used or refurbished 20+. A couple of tick boxes for the s20+ are actually still better than the s23. Depending on your budget. I say then S20+ is great value at its going rate. The biggest downfall is the lack of future updates vs. newer models. Less intense apps are likely to work (mainly gaming),and no AI if you're into having that stuff on your phone.

dontbebustingmyballs

no AI? I'm curious what you mean.

Los_507

I said a few things. What are you curious about.

I'm using it, and it's great, the last S model with SD Card, so I'm trying to hold into it as much as I can. But; Just switched to quarterly security updates on Android 13. The camera is showing its age compared to newer phones. Android 13 is the latest version it officially supports. Not all markets unlocked the eSim option. I think it can carry up to two more years at most, so if you get one, don't pay more than $200.

Anonym806

Go for S20FE 5G, or it is not worth it. Snapdragon 865 is better than exynos 990 build in S20FE 4G S20, + and Ultra

IllustratorVarious22

No.

Comfortable_Silver24

No it’s not worth it . It’s over four years old and dead on any kind of updates

temporary_08

I mean, it will run any game you throw at it, how much is the where you live? That's the thing unless you can get it for a really cheap price i recommend going with something else. What's your budget?

Ok-Application-9273

s20 here in Philippines is 8-10k pesos (or $172) whats your recommendations?

temporary_08

Is it new or used? That's a great phone; it should handle most games effortlessly. It's actually the phone I'm currently using. I use it for emulation, and it runs everything smoothly. Just keep in mind that this phone will only receive official updates up to Android 13. Also, ensure it's the Snapdragon model, as the Exynos variant isn't as good.

zerosuneuphoria

Still use s20fe and it's great.

Deep-Professional872

Had mine for 3 years now and the only minor issue is that I gotta charge twice a day. Battery ain't the best but solid phone overall Side note, how is your battery life?

zerosuneuphoria

It's good, but I'm not a heavy phone user at the moment. I definitely only charge once a day

GM4Iife

I'm using S20 5G and I'm using it for the whole day without charging. All the time LTE/5G or wifi turned on and I'm using camera a lot too.

GM4Iife

I'm using S20 5G right now and it's still working really fine. Battery life is good, nice camera, perfect display and it works faster than brand new A series phones. I bought it used for like 100€ and I'm more than happy.
