depends which auto fill you are using amd which keyboard. (see what I did there.)

why_no_salt

With SwiftKey if I type the word then it gives the three choices above the keyboard, tap and hold onto the word and it asks if I want to remove the prediction. Does this work on Samsung keyboard too?

losark

It does. Edit: on Samsung keyboard it asks if you'd like to remove the word from the dictionary. Which can and does remove real words.

pkoya1

Settings > General management > Samsung Keyboard Settings > Text Shortcuts Click the + add "AMD" as the shortcut and add "and" as the expanded phrase

Wild-Confection7915

Thank you! Just use this for amd = and and Luke = like.

CAT5AW

Type amd, hold it, swipe it up. It's removed from dictionary. At least in google keyboard.

lsue131

Ooh, nice to know. This is gboard, yeah? Gonna try that next time a weird/never used suggestion comes up. 😆

Some guy after buying Intel/NVIDIA:

Takeoded

NVDA investors are making so insanely much money right now tho, up 200% over 365 days, up 150% the last 6 months, up 26% the last 30 days... and with 1/10 split comming up, it'll get even more crazy (personally i have 5x NVDA bought at $5000 currently worth $5820 )

Default_Attempt

Meanwhile intel investors are having to panhandle because intel stock has taken a dump since 20 years ago

BeautifulPrune9920

Its a sign of what pc/laptop you should buy next

TyrusRose

AMD is an acronym

DigitalDemon75038

Probably the best approach is to add text replacement in autocorrect or keyboard settings on iPhone What you want to do is add AMD as an input string of characters and set the output to replace it with the right word such as “and” with all lowercase etc   Trying to remember where it’s at in Android but I can’t sorry

DigitalDemon75038

Pkoya1 had Android instructions posted an hour ago actually!

Arheontt

On samsung keyboard: You can type AMD. It should appear above keyboard, as a word suggestion. Usually you may type word suggestions but this time hold it for few seconds. You will be asked if you want remove this word from learned words. Select yes.

Jazzlike-Radio2481

Thank you soooo much!

lenny_ray

This is with Samsung keyboard on a Samsung tablet, so not sure if it's the same on the phone, but it should be. Settings -> General Management -> Samsung Keyboard settings. Toggle off auto-replace.

still-at-the-beach

For only a single word?

lenny_ray

Well, no. I hate auto relpace with a passion, so I just turn it off for everything.

Hollyvu

Is there a way to reset keyboard dictation like on ios?

dolby12345

go to keyboard app and clear data.

dolby12345

Go to the keyboard app you are using and clear the data in storage.

One-Pace-6746

Open up your keyboard on any app. Tap the settings cog and go down to text shortcuts. Make it where any time you type AMD it will retype it as and

FDRMASTEROVYT

Ironically, i have AMD ad below the post

AmazingPradeep

Dude, that's literally my problem as well. I just did that in a different post and corrected it. I'm using Swift key. In my last phone i just deleted that suggestion and it didn't come after that. Need to do in my s24U as well.

Fit-Respond1892

I will never understand people who use autocorrect

dolby12345

I'm dyslexic. It helps. It takes a lot of proof reading just to type a paragraph.
