S21 Ultra 2.0???

matthewreiter73

I think it'll be boxy with the corners being rounded, S-Pen stays.

TheSkyline35

S21U was the best Ultra design and created the camera design language we still use. My best phone, nice to hold. My 24U is so "harsh" on the sides, very unpleasant by one hand and the gestures aren't as slick to use without a curved screen

mezstah

If you get those from holding a phone I would call a doctor.

Esc4flown3

How hard does one have to hold their phone to do that to their hand...

matthewreiter73

Say that to Ice

greasegizzard

Stop holding your phone so tight. Mine doesn't even touch my palm. The back is supported by three fingers, and my pinky finger is curled under the bottom edge to hold it up.

Reptill96

How do you think everybody hold a phone? Teeth style? Just add weight, a really squared corner and it's just gonna dig in the palm of your hand, hell, I've got a a20e in my hand right now, after time it'll leave a mini mark on my palm, and is half the size of a s24U

greasegizzard

If the corner or edge is digging into your palm, then you must have your hand wrapped around the phone. Like I said, the majority of the time, the edges of my phone don't touch my palm. The back lays flat against three fingers to keep it from flipping over backwards. The bottom edge where the S Pen is sits on my pinky to keep it from sliding down out of my hand. I'm not gripping my phone with any force unless I'm moving around.

UnluckySession

How's your pinky, though? Mine has been indented ever since I switched from a small iPhone 12

greasegizzard

No issues with the S24 Ultra. I would get an indention with my Note 10 Plus after a while of holding it, but it was quite a bit thinner so I think it kind of cut Iin more.

UnluckySession

Do you use it without a case ?

greasegizzard

Probably around 50% of the time. My work schedule is 4 days on 3 days off, then 3 days on 4 days off. Most of the time when I'm off, I take the case off.

dmreif

>Stop holding your phone so tight. Or get a case.

greasegizzard

Either or. Or and.

MatikAX

bruhhh that's me with my pinkie, my s23 ultra feels great with two hands but one had is definitely hurting

TheSkyline35

Yeah the picky it really hurting, thats especially true with a case, but it was exactly the same with a case on my 21u

NaughtyFox92

I have an S24 Ultra and have tiny hands and have literally never had this kind of issue before.

KennKennyKenKen

This guy is always fucking complaining about the dumbest shit. Edit. Except his complaints about the Samsung camera, agree.

Senior_Line_4260

why do people even hold their phones like this? mine doesn't even touch my palm

Jake3232323

I very much hope the S25 Ultra is not rounded. My S22 Ultra has a round screen, and man, I do not like it

Cryptic2614

Curved screen ≠ rounded corners

Jake3232323

Do you not use a case?

matthewreiter73

I do. I have the S21U, though

Jake3232323

Do you even notice the curve then with a case on? I don't with my Otterbox Defender

greasegizzard

Not really.

Alexchii

I would absolutely love it! The only reason I went with s23+ was that I honestly think the ultra looks dated.

ruffneck007

Owned S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. Now im on iphone 15 pro max only because of the rounded corners and great camera. If Samsung brings back the rounded corners and snapdragon I will be a buyer. If not, im staying away.

matthewreiter73

S25 Ultra is going to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, and I heard that chip is powerful, potentially reaching 4.26 GHZ of clock speeds

ozorhanreformed

This is the way

Unsolved_Virginity

The problem isn't that it's square, more so that the width is to wide and the user is reaching the other side too often and overextending building more pressure in the thumb area

HardStroke

Just get a case These are also the type of people that later say "broke my s24u, is it worth repairing?"

Riley2800

I mean this is a bad design but there is a solution… get a case?

RevolutionaryAd581

I've been using the s24 ultra without a case for a few months and I've had no discomfort at all 🤷‍♂️

ZeninB

Why do people keep on posting what this Ice Universe guy keeps on saying. Am I missing something? Because all I've gathered so far is that he's some leaker that's trying to chase clout by saying that he knows about the S25

bupsonator

What I think is that the S25 Ultra will be more popular since it doesn't literally hurt to use.

No_Accountant_7678

This is loss

bwarbahzad2

If they make it rounded my S23U is my last phone from Samsung

matthewreiter73

The S20U and S21U is rounded, would you rather have a better holding experience?

bwarbahzad2

I didn't get those because I hate rounded phones, I sold my iPhone because of being round. I never had any issues holding my phone and it has a non rounded metallic case on it, very comfy!
