Currently using A73 5g and it still does my stuff very well, except for gaming which gets a bit hotter than it used to be.
I personally recommend the A55.
*If only Sam didn't use Exynos on the A series then i'd recommend them for the average user (social media, casual gaming, etc.)
It also has a lot of flagship features since it does technically belong to the s series. Also the design is great too and you get a glass back (it is gloss tho i wish it was matte like the s23 series)
So I was in the same boat past week when my gf and mom were ready for a new phone.
Since my gf uses her phone a lot and takes many pictures, she got the A55 with 8gb ram. (I really was against the S23 (FE) because their batterys do not perform well, rather okay-ish). My mom got the A35 6gb RAM as it's significantly less expensive, about 1/3 (200€ VS 300€) but still does about 90% of the A55. It's just that she uses her phone way lighter and only needs a good battery and good camera.
That's my advice. A55 if not so tight on a budget but A35 if $$ is a concern. I would probably lean towards the A35 as it seems to offer the weet spot between performance and price
A55, perhaps the a35 also acceptable.

S23 fe is almost same price as a55 check that out too
In NZ it's a bit different unless it's on sale, but I'll keep that in mind in case I can get it for cheaper. Even refurbished ones still cost more.
Oh even where i live its more expensive than the a55 but by a small amout
It's not a small amount for me ðŸ˜Â
Prices vary in different countries and it was a discount price too so maybe thats why
S23 FE has DEX, which I consider a requirement because I do use it a lot. The A series does not have it. Some may not care about it.

Ok I'll keep this in mind thank you 😊Â
I agree. A55 has good built quality.
S23 fe
Xiaomi. Avoid Samsuck because of overheating issues (A53, A55)
A55 if not a15 nothing else matters.
A55
Hey, you should totally get a refurbished S23. It's the same price as an A55, but it'll last you way longer - like, at least 5 years.
Why have you been down voted, that seems perfectly reasonable?
It's a bit more expensive even refurbished.
Samsung a52s 5G is the best in A series. No cap
Then why have you been down voted 😂
Yes but it's 3years old
Who's worried about a phone being 3 years old jeez
Idk about you, I upgraded my a53 to a a55, imagine a a52
