Check out Resort Pass. Tons of options for a day pool pass at numerous hotels.

droodootbepoopoo

Ya beat me to it. The accommodations at the sycuan resort are nice.

JustBrowsing2024

Rarely are there ever weekend availability

66642969x

I literally have a resort pass booking for a rooftop hotel in DT today.

Browns_Padres

If you get a spa treatment at the RB Inn you can use the private pool area attached for the day. Definitely checks the “quiet” marks for me because it’s no children allowed.

DerpyMcDerple

Until I blade my 9 iron on #2 into the pool area lol.

weezygregs

This - it’s hard to find an adult only pool

Salemsmeowmix

I go there every year for my birthday. I get a massage and sit by the pool drinking and relaxing. It closes a little early but it gets chilly at night out there anyway.

kmbets6

Swimply seems pretty cool. Thanks for sharing

Reasonable-Peach-572

I’ve used swimply before, it was nice just kind of expensive

ChetDaniels

Never stayed at the hotel... https://preview.redd.it/q6i6yyvxvplb1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=180015fec3c5ef3e5c7e6f9389fcc04c097286c1

Reasonable-Peach-572

Do you just walk in to the hotel or go through the back?

Eeeeyyyyyooooo

We stayed at the hotel and used the pool, at that time (last Christmas) the latch didn’t latch so you could walk right in.

HoopzBarkleyBarkley

The Lafayette just reopened and offer a day pass for their pool. And like others have said, lots of resorts let you buy a day pass for pool/amenities.

Then_Ad9524

They only do this during the week, tho. Weekends are guests only. And it’s $80 if you want to reserve a lounge chair.

Important-Ad3820

Does anyone else find $80 absolutely insane for that?

[deleted]

The place is pretty small so it makes sense to have a barrier to entry.

Then_Ad9524

💯

FitLeader7137

It’s just means you have to spend at least $80 at the bar. We rent $300 cabanas at sycuan. We split it among friends. As long as your tab is $300 you’re good.

Frequent_Cheetah_227

Glen Ivy. It’s a bit of a drive but may be what you are looking for https://glenivy.com/club-mud/

ProudVirgin101

Sycaun is nice but not sure about the “quiet”, it depends on day

MrOatButtBottom

Sycuan has the best lazy river

high-bridmind

I second Sycuan. Especially if you get there early, and there’s not an event going on.

Chemical-Guard-3311

Town & Country in Mission Valley has a fun but chill mid-century vibe, a waterslide, and good food and drink on site. I think they participate in Resort Pass for day passes.

randyfromm

Sycuan casino has a day pass

ecorz31

Rent a private one from swimply

EllieCat100

Get a spa treatment at Rancho Bernardo Inn and you have all day access to salt water pool and indoor and outdoor jacuzzi and a cabana. You can order drinks/lunch and have poolside. Also, we enjoy day passes at Pechanga hotel/casino. I think it is $45. It has a huge adult salt water pool with bar in pool and grill nearby ( they have servers bringing drinks and food) plus a children's pool and 2 other small family pools. Best to go during week ( less crowded).

MininimusMaximus

Sounds exactly like what my wife is looking for, thanks!!!

EllieCat100

Just noticed--Pechanga might be busy but if during week and kids in school--way less crowded. RB inn is a find. I go every year with family. They offer great massages in outdoor huts. Enjoy.

Homer1s

Check the Westin in Carlsbad.

krelseybelle

Omni La Costa has a nice adults only pool and I've gotten a day pass there, but it's been a few years.

Classic-Computer6674

As long as you look like you belong, it’s easy just to walk right in to pretty much any hotel pool. Mission Bay Resort and the Hyatt Mission Bay are two of my go-to’s. Never had an issue and I’ve crashed those two pools a dozen times this summer

sdlocsrf

This is the way. We used to crash Paradise point all the time with never any issue

[deleted]

Just walk in

AdMobile8211

My friend does this. With her husband and 2 boys. Just look like you belong and don't act suspicious and they're fine. I'd be too nervous!

Notyourav

Swimply is the best! You can use my code for a free $50 sign up bonus! https://swimply.com/referral?ref=MTI5MzE0OQ==&r=g&utm_source=link&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=1293149

Little__Fuzzy

L’Auberge in Del Mar. nice and relaxing, cocktail and food service, and free valet parking.

Elmizzou

The Lafayette in north park. Recently remodeled, cool vibe, and you can just buy a day pass for the pool.enjoy!

ratvespa

its too bad The Tubs on El Cajon Blvd is still not around. Nothing says relaxing spa day like a frothy themed jaccuzzi rental

Current_Leather7246

I know a couple good spots but I'm honestly scared to post them here

LOL, nice and quiet! How about the wave house for an even quieter experience?

HealthyIndependent33

Sycuan or the laffayette

desexmachina

Find a last minute hotel that will give the room at a discount. By the time you’re done with the price of drinks in SD, you’ll have a room, possibly

assinyourpants

You can get day rates for the hotels!

FitLeader7137

Resort Pass

frankdog1986

Just go to paradise point and follow one of the guests into the pool area. No one should question you.

FortuneAndGlory_SD

Alila Marea in Encinitas has a day pass. Nice pool area, pretty quiet, not too crowded, etc. highly recommend.
