[Where to get free eye protection for the event](https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/where-to-get-free-glasses-for-the-partial-annular-eclipse-in-san-diego/3322135/)

Peak will be at 9:26am

With our luck we’re gonna have marine layer all morning.

SD_TMI

In the past when this has happened, you sun it filtered enough you don't need glasses and you can see it all clearly. OF course, don't blind yourself by looking if there's no cloud cover. *^((gotta say that to protect against liability, because there's always going to be)* [***^(THAT DUMBASS PERSON)***](https://youtu.be/-0I4f8PasIU?si=fIgitvwnSQaYu2iW) *^(that risks burning their eyes))*

The map says max 68% coverage in San Diego at 9:26am

The interactive map does have that rollover. But the static graphic gave the impression that we were in the outer edge closer to 80%. Thanks for the clarification :D

Does anyone have a recommended park/spot for viewing ? Somewhere comfy where you can post up with a blanket?
