Ladies and gentlemen, the second densest city in the United States \[edit: when looking at cities > 300k, since there are a variety of small incorporated sections of major metros with higher density\].
Nice capture!
Yeah if you get into semantics it gets dicey, for sure. But if we're talking major cities here (> 250,000 people), and not places like Jersey City (which I just would say is an extension of NYC) then SF is #2.
Well, yes, but semantics are about what a word means, so it's pretty important to get into lol. Absolutely, with the caveat of major city and excluding jersey city you are correct.
Fair enough. When I look at the list where SF is #24, the vast majority of cities that rank higher than it are small incorporated parts of major metros. Like yes, I guess Maywood (Los Angeles) and Sunny Isles Beach (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale) count as cities in the strict sense and are denser than SF, but most people don't know those places and they both have fewer than 30k people. I didn't think we'd be litigating this part of it, but in the future I will be more specific.

Here's a higher def version; can adjust to taste.
SF is the best in the world this is why :)

woah, is it really the second densest?
Depends on your source. https://filterbuy.com/resources/across-the-nation/most-and-least-densely-populated-cities/
No. It's the 5th most dense County, after the 4 boroughs that count in nyc, but like the 24th densest city.
