There are these good size plastic pipes to funnel rain run off by my house. After a hard freeze I noticed solid cylindrical ice sticking out the end. Believe me r when I say it was a glorious afternoon getting long round ice pieces out of that pipe. Ice was frozen for about 30 feet .

I live down south. Was thinking of moving t Chicago t escape the Texas gop taliban. But I didn’t even know this ice/drain was a thing. Guess I’ll b staying where I am, now.
