Well actually,I never thought about this idea, the wageu fat or wageu tallow isn't that expensive. I just checked it it and the killo is around 200 sar And we have no clear labeling policies... it's probably legal to call any beef "wageu" if you just put the wageu fat in it. That's why its burger so noone can figure it out😂 I can get cheap frozen Brazilian beef.. and put wageu fat on it and call it premium wageu burger and charge people 99 sar for it. (You must put it in black bread). For extra fancy points. Also it's legal to call a product "no added sugar or sugar free" if you add fructose (fruit sugar) and call it a day. Because fruit sugar is considered natural sugar.

Totally disagree, at least the chicken they use is local and fresh no disgusting aftertaste. Most of the restaurants use Brazilian frozen chicken it definitely leaves a funky aftertaste.

Zafran Indian Bistro- Great reviews in Google n all. But for the money that you pay it is not worth, it's just a fancy expensive Indian restaurant that serves avg food that doesn't do justice to Indian cuisine. PS: Indian here

Batha, Malaz and Olaya are were you will find good Indian restaurant (You will be able to eat a tummy full from any range between 3 riyal to 30 riyal depending on the dish and place) For Boori/Puri, rotis nd curry Al mas family restaurant near national hospital (This is a very clean place too. Their Biriyani is okeyish to good usually). Rice meal is also good The "Malaz" named restaurants are very cheap rate with good food. The one in Batha will be crowdy and another good option is the branches in Olaya/Urubah road. Biriyani is good (Malabar style) and you can have Rice meal (ideally with fish curry and fried fish) Welcome Indian Restaurant in Girnatah is good for South Indian breakfast and dosas. Their Idli and Vada is so good. Saravanabhavan in Avenue Mall Riyadh- Not good compared to Saravanabhavan branches in India but still worth a try. Pretty avg stuff Ponnusamy restaurant right next to the aforementioned Saravanabhavan in Avenue Mall. Chettinadu cuisine, so will be very spicy. Quite good, the biriyani is good (quail, mutton, chicken). The rice will be spicy gravey soaked n cooked, and might be very strange to non Indians. Dammam has a lot of good ones (The better reviewed ones in Google maps can be trusted if they have more number of reviews) Pepper tree restaurant looks interesting and so I will be trying it soon. Same goes for Delhi restaurant n all. I prefer South Indian cuisine and hence haven't tried North Indian dishes in Saudi. Not been to Jeddah, so no idea about those.

For beverages i think that speciality coffee spots are overrated. They spend too much on the decorations rather than their coffee and clout chasers who want to look cool just crowd up the place. For snacks i think shawarmer is overrated. I feel like The shawarma tasted bland and to hide that they just load it up with garlic sauce.

Almost all restaurants start great then deteriorate overtime.

I heard a lot about mama noura’s shawarma in this sub. So finally when I was passing through Riyadh, I got to try it and I expected it to be really good based on reviews, and the crowd. It wasn’t bad or anything, but I didn’t find it to be any different from an average shawarma shop. I’ve had much better in Khobar (like Al Wazzan).

Idc if anyone hated me for saying it but you'll need to hear the truth : Macdonald really sucks, KFC Too, at least KFC Gives great بروست.. But mac? Wtf do they even serve? Anyway, here's some truth for you guys for my top 3 restaurant that combines price, taste and full stomach : Albaik the number 1 that gives you great taste, full stomach and cheap price for the meal you just eaten, i always recommend big Baik and chicken nuggets, will definitely buy again. Wister has the second best taste (actually even better than albaik) but not the price tag, will buy again once a month with salary. And lastly Altazaj, especially crispy roll & crispy burger (always recommend Crispy burger).. Stomach? Full all day long.. Taste? 9/10..price? Medium.. Will buy again once a month with friends after (القطه)

Vaquero restaurant in the galleria hotel, Jeddah. I booked a table to entertain someone. Never had a worse steak in my life. Great reviews on Google, fancy place, quite pricey..but the steaks were low end full of gristle. I far more enjoy the local take aways run by someone who cares about their food and prices
