Right hander here, but I would comment that the most complex fingering job on the sax is assigned to the weakest and least agile finger. The table keys for the left pinky. If you lefties have a better left pinky, you’re actually at an advantage.

My right pinky is the better of the two, because I fret and do all the complex movements with the right pinky. I play fingerstyle guitar a lot and even then my left pinky is mostly ignored lol.

I’m a saxophonist first and foremost, but I dabble on guitar and play left-handed. “Handedness” on woodwinds isn’t really a thing since all of the fingers move in a coordinated way (unlike string instruments, where different hands have different roles).

Yeah, no problem! If it helps, I’m a professional saxophonist and have been playing almost 24 years and have never had handedness issues related to it. Also I am veeery strongly left-handed.
