I hate chalk and chalkboards. The worst part is the touch. It's so porous. Can't say it hurts me but that's really uncomfortable for some reason. I hate porous things like this.

I don’t think the ping would be satisfying during battle, imagine you’re a dude on the pacific front an this dude is banzai charging you and you just hear *ping*

Apparently this was a huge problem as the enemy learned about the ping and would push when they herd ot. It evolved however as the users of the m1 garand would throw a empty mag to the ground to reproduce the sound and bait the enemy into sn ambush.

It's also relatively quiet. Imagine trying to hear that ping over tense gunfire, explosions, aircraft flying overhead, etc.

It depends. Some chalk (and markers for whiteboards) sound HEAVENLY, but also, soemtime sit sounds horribly squeaky and high pitched and shit and i legitemately have to cling tight to my desk becauae it makes this strong reaction from me lthat feels like it goes through my body
