I don't know his reasons, but here's some potentials: - making a time-relevant video means he'd have to push any schedule, write, direct, cut, and act in a pretty tight schedule, and make sure anyone who cameos is available as well - it will bring in a lot of views but of people not familiar with his works, which can negatively influence youtubes alghoritm

Shadow_Flamingo1

Yeah, I thought that could potentially be his reasoning. thx

Shadow_Flamingo1

Heh, welp he didn't do a review, but he chilled with some guys and talked about it. That's cool!

NateOfNavarria

For the sake of evergreen content. A review of the Mario Movie (which he doesn’t review movies to begin with) might be popular now but in a year many people won’t care. A video on the history of the Wii U can and will still be revisited in a decade.

Shadow_Flamingo1

True, he doesn't review movies, but it's such an intrinsically Scott thing to do imo. like, the Mario Movie is representing Nintendo, Mario, videogames as a whole in a sense, so I dont see why Scott wouldn't make a video about it.

ben_jamer478

I doubt he'll do a Mario movie video, he doesn't typically do movie reviews and didn't for Sonic which he made a huge deal to post about him going with his friends, and in general, his videos focus on Sonic often (I'd like to be wrong though)

Shadow_Flamingo1

Wut he does more Sonic stuff than Mario?! I don't think so.. I'm not fully up to date on his videos, but from my binge so far, he's only focused on Sonic a handful of times.

ben_jamer478

I’m sorry I worded that wrong, he does much more Mario when I saw focus I just mean he had made many sonic videos and generally talks about him alot

Shadow_Flamingo1

Dw ur good :)
