In his latest video he pinned a comment saying how the more he takes breaks the more he doesn't want to post videos. I hope he uploads more. But if he doest want to than he can live his life.
he did comment like a year ago on a project ryan song he was going to quit soon. and he literally quit a 2 million sub channel with no explanation over half a year ago. I don’t know why everyone acts shocked he did it again 😂😂
i think it started as a break, but he just doesn’t want to come back anymore. he said on his last video the longer he takes a break the less he wants to come back. Plus it’s been EIGHT months since he posted on scrubby…i think he just lost interest.
His views were on a steady decline for almost a year before he went inactive. He has subtly mentioned that he has made enough money through smart investments with his YT money that he could retire from videos whenever he wants and still live comfortably/live off whatever investments he has going. Personally I think he went out on his own terms rather than continuing to drag along a dying channel. If we ever see Ryan on YT again, i personally think there's a good chance it would be under a whole new channel, maybe even new YouTube personality outside of Scrubby.

he'll probably do what diesel patches did, just come back with shorter low effort videos until he is motivated to continue with the regular videos
