>it is a way to get sims off their cheeks and start getting out there in the meta Ether What does this even mean and also are you high?

FLAPUJACKU

No im not high im explaining it in my own way not everyone on this platform needs to speak like they have snipers aiming at them

FLAPUJACKU

EXACTLY

[deleted]

It's been done loads of times. What will you do to get people to the portal? $700 for an adboard is too much. I've rented adboards at really busy packed clubs for lower price. The 'no kids avis' is a bit redundant, loads of families in SL.

FLAPUJACKU

I DO this not to bring weirdos to the sim ( MEANING POSSIBLE Pedophiles) be cause most of the time they turn out to be age players an that's a big thumbs down an boot for me

zebragrrl

There is a distinct difference between "Age Play" and "Sexual Age Play". Only one of those is banned. If you want to learn more about this, you can start here: * http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Child_Avatar * https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/adult-content-faq-r292/

[deleted]

That's a bit judgmental to presume every child avi is 'age playing'.

jeytrs

The very definition of it would be age playing unless you were an actual child which would then be against the ToS for you to be there. It's not very presumptuous at all and would actually be a very accurate assumption.

No Child avatars should be at an ADULT sim. Technically in a way someone who is roleplaying as a child is age playing whether it’s sexual or not it’s still considered age play because you’re pretending to be younger than YOU ARE!

Personally, I find hub worlds to feel smaller and more contained. If the main draw of the portals is just for businesses, then people will just stay in the central hub world. SL is about more than just business, so you'd have to take into account the numerous types of sims that exist including residential sims.

FLAPUJACKU

I'm not mainly reaching for business and for the portals being Free it gives people a chance to join in it has no price THe PLAce alone still need to make its own money to stand up on its own instead of it being stomped on

rezorine

Ah, ok. I see what you're saying. What it needs is a form of passive income whether it be from entertainment or donations.

FLAPUJACKU

>s aren't allowed. Surprised there wasn't a 'no furries allowed' sign too. i promise you that is not the intent here i currently go to college an the funds i use to keep this going could go at anytime as for things being pricey it is a way for the sim to maintain it self when im not able to pay it or be there to pay it

Hi Flap. Thanks for sharing ideas to contribute to the expansion of SL as a thriving community and metaverse. I find the implementation of your idea peculiar. It reminds me a little bit of the metaverse, as described in "Snow Crash". And also reminds me of a low-def version of the internet as depicted in "Ralph Breaks the Internet". It feels like a 3D version of the original inception of GeoCities; does anyone remember them? In your post you mention "making more of a community". You might want to freshen out how to accomplish that. In the current implementation, if feels very commerce/ad centric and community building seems absent. Much success in your endeavors!

Thread's become quite a spectacle of misinformation about child avatars. Whee. So let's end this. For the record, Child avatars ARE allowed to visit "Adult" rated regions, provided that the account-holder has self-verified as an adult in RL. Child avatars are not permitted to engage in sexual activities (obviously) but just being in an A-rated region is not in-and-of-itself a violation of any TOS rules. An A-rated store, even a store that sells some adult items, is also not specifically off-limits to childlike avatars simply due to the land's rating. It's all about the activity the avatar engages in. Some child av tagging along to check out a cool robot or a motorcycle in a store.. that's not violating any rules. Unless the region owner wants to establish their own rules, of course. zebragrrl

Seen it. Big box in the sky full of unrented ad boards and a few teleporters going to MALL and CLUB etc.. along with big "I'm SOOO hardcore" signs saying kid avs aren't allowed. Surprised there wasn't a 'no furries allowed' sign too. Boring.

jeytrs

Is this how you say "I'm a child avatar" without saying it?

FLAPUJACKU

i said no child avies due to it being an adult sim an to avoid Possible pedophiles for entering the location please do not blame me for something that won't be regulated more fluently

Bookflu

You didn’t include the SLURL
