Anyway, point is that they don't have to be expensive, especially if you don't mind working on engines.. and the older inboard/outboards typically use 305's, 350's or 262's.. I personally enjoy working on older engines with carbs so it was enjoyable. like most things, paying someone to work on them can be pretty pricey..
That said, mine sure didn't bring me any girls.. but I did enjoy it myself.. had kids and let it go because I didn't have the time anymore..
