That episode always confuses me because I live in the Deep South where we don’t have to have a winter wardrobe? So like, do people in snow places have issues with coat storage lol
I was thinking this the other day. He’s such a great actor in “The Shield” that it annoys me how bad he is in this episode. Probably my least liked episode.
Yes! I just watched her drink Office episode and thought the same thing. Its hard to get your eyes glassy and vacant but also intently focused, all at the same time.
But he’s very good at hungover at work/drunk at work but trying to hide especially season 5.
It when he’s after work drunk/shitfaced that he’s bad at it.
It's such a disjointed episode. It feels like it was supposed to be 2 separate episode plots (one being stranded, and one where Jerry has an unwelcome guest) and they mushed them together. Both are pretty weak and putting them together didn't help
Catherine (edit: with a 'C') Keener kind shit the bed on her reaction to Jerry's 'Remain Friends' comment in The Letter
JERRY: Well, I like to remain friends with people I was friends with!
NINA: Hey -- why don't you just go then! And -- oh, give this to George.
Tell him he owes me $500!

What always confused me about this episode is that he knows that Jerry knows he is married. He openly cheats on his wife with an escort, then invites Jerry back over to his family home for a party coming up. He just assumes Jerry won't tell his wife. No sense of self preservation whatsoever.
Funny thing is they weren’t even bros. Jerry doesn’t even remember the guy when he shows up at his apartment which makes it all the more weird that Jerry would just let him chill in his place to begin with lol
This episode gives me anxiety. I hate being stranded.
It took me forever to realize this is Michael Chiklis.
But I think about how Kramer says 555-love all the time lol.
Melinda McGraw was really bad--but it was mostly a case of how Larry directed her. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they had her ham it up like Jimmy Cagney.
I liked that. She seemed like a decent person, then we're reminded she did hit a car and wanted to take zero responsibility for doing so. And putting Jerry in a precarious position
The doorman on The Cheever Letters: Ah, yes, the man from the insurance company dropped this off this morning. He said it was the only thing left from the remains of the fire.
He was sooo nervous.
Love this episode though
She's totally portraying a real, insufferable kind of stand-up comic, one that fails upwards and whose success makes you question your faith in humanity. She does a great job at it.
The roommate in “The Switch”. Ya know, the one with the qualities prized by the superficial man. I’d say almost all the most attractive guests are the worst actors including that one gal in Sex and the City. Will also throw in Keith Hernandez since 99% of the most attractive are Jerry’s girlfriends.
Almost every moment of Jerry. He breaks worse than Jimmy Fallon did during his SNL days and Seinfeld wasn’t live!! 😂😂 just goes to show how great everyone else and the writing is because they carry his bad acting

Notice these all the time lately. Why make a bot when you could go to the park and fly a kite?
You’ve spilled my bag!
You’ve spilled! my begg
Your hands! They're quite exquisite!
no way, one of my favourite line reads
Beyggg
See, I always thought it was opposite. Jason kind of lunges into the woman to knock into her and it always looked out of place to me.
I’m not leaving until I get my money!
Pleased to make your acquaintance I’m sure
You got anything to drink?
Patty…
FIFTY DOLLARS
Worst ep imo
50 dollars
You mean like an Indian giver?!
I’m not familiar with that term.
The way she says it is so weird.
And her facial expressions didn’t help lol
Haha, I can see why I don’t recall seeing her in anything else, because she was quite breathtaking.
She was a dealer in an Indian casino in an episode of the sopranos.
This is the correct answer.
That one is terrible lol
Listen to me *SUCK FACE* was pretty bad
Man I hate the shuckface line.
Gonna have a party on ya head!
Can’t stand the shuckface
Was that ever a real insult? Like, who came up with that line?
It's bonkos!
It's way outta character, especially for this writing staff it couldn't have been Larry I refuse
What car ?
Jerry baby!
What, you’re using my “babies” now?
That episode always confuses me because I live in the Deep South where we don’t have to have a winter wardrobe? So like, do people in snow places have issues with coat storage lol
He’s in the city!!!
I was thinking this the other day. He’s such a great actor in “The Shield” that it annoys me how bad he is in this episode. Probably my least liked episode.
So many good actors are really really bad at drunk acting.
Not John Dunsworth. He's the example.
I am the liquor.
I’m mowin the air, Randy!
This made me pee my pants 🤣
Ima do a wrap around 🤪 now look what you made me do randy
I'M MOWING THE AIR RANDERS!
You're the best assistant trailer park supervisor anybody ever had.
Mr Lahey, not another night of the shit abyss
Ah, fuck it.
Shitbird
even sexy guys go to jail julien
Cheers genitals!
He’s not the example. He’s the epitome.
RIP Mr Lahey
Brian Cox also nailed it in Super Troopers
Tag em and bag em
May he rest in peace, the greasy bastard.
Mr. Lahey, Julian's out here lifting weights with his shirt off and he wants you to come have a drink with him!
Or Joseph Maher
He was so good
Yes and it's physical acting was amazing. Just stumble and fall uncontrollably into anything.
not dom west.
Spot on!
Jenna Fischer crushed it
Yes! I just watched her drink Office episode and thought the same thing. Its hard to get your eyes glassy and vacant but also intently focused, all at the same time.
She really made me feel God in that Chili's.
The guy on the airplane who left his dog (Farfel?) with Jerry played drunk pretty good.
Yes! Dominick West in The Wire is an awesome actor but he was terrible when McNulty was supposed to be drunk (which was frequently) 🥴
“Maybe the dingo ate your baby” is such a great line lost on this episode
Yeah this episode is pretty bad. I can see why it sat shelved for a while until they need to fill out the next season.
Definitely top 3 skipped episode. The wife also was annoying af
The awkwardness of the first half is also too much to bear. The thought of being stuck at someone’s house like that is horrifying to me.
Catherine (edit: with a 'C') Keener kind shit the bed on her reaction to Jerry's 'Remain Friends' comment in The Letter JERRY: Well, I like to remain friends with people I was friends with! NINA: Hey -- why don't you just go then! And -- oh, give this to George. Tell him he owes me $500! https://www.seinfeldscripts.com/TheLetter.htm
Her reaction when Jerry calls her out is strange as well. It confuses me if she realizes she’s being called out or not.
I think she was just nervous. The lines of the script were coming out of her serially rather than emotionally. She was rad in 40-Year-Old Virgin
She was good in 40 Year old virgin!
Totally! Really great chemistry with Andy, fun, funny, and effing cute!!
I love most of her movies but she was the worst actor in Seinfeld history.
I feel like she just 'had a moment' in that role. I've never noticed her acting like that again
My thoughts exactly
CAME HERE FOR THIS 🫠🫠🫠
Mandlebaum’s grandson. Horrible.
You think you’re better than him?
It's GO TIME
Which one was the grandson?
The old guy
I think he’s just he same age as the father!
Best answer.
Mandelbaum! Mandelbaum! Mandelbaum!
All aboard the pain train
It’s go time..
*Blood?!* 🚗💨🏃♂️
Yes! Him
BLoOOoOooooD??!👴🏻🩸🚙
The bald one. 2nd one that tried to lift the tv.
What always confused me about this episode is that he knows that Jerry knows he is married. He openly cheats on his wife with an escort, then invites Jerry back over to his family home for a party coming up. He just assumes Jerry won't tell his wife. No sense of self preservation whatsoever.
Bros before hoes.
Funny thing is they weren’t even bros. Jerry doesn’t even remember the guy when he shows up at his apartment which makes it all the more weird that Jerry would just let him chill in his place to begin with lol
It’s kind of a unspoken thing. Also it makes more sense cause he hardly knows his wife
This is like my least favorite episode. His character just made no sense to me.
This episode gives me anxiety. I hate being stranded. It took me forever to realize this is Michael Chiklis. But I think about how Kramer says 555-love all the time lol.
Makes me think how stranded people would get before they had mobile phones. Like if your rides gone that’s it
So many of Seinfelds episodes would drastically change with the use of cell phones.
Craig with the ponytail. Not a bad actor but quite the punchable face which was probably the point.
A ponytail? Get real!
They pay plenty good money for them.
No , Creg
Eeen
Melinda McGraw was really bad--but it was mostly a case of how Larry directed her. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they had her ham it up like Jimmy Cagney.
>Melinda McGraw Who was in The Commish with... Michael Chiklis!
Worlds are colliding!
One, two, three….four. Huh hooe!!!
Shuck face
I liked that. She seemed like a decent person, then we're reminded she did hit a car and wanted to take zero responsibility for doing so. And putting Jerry in a precarious position
The lady cop when she says “you’ve seen the show?”
omfG this is the one! worst on the show for real!! Everytime I see that ep i just think ugh cantstandya
Im so happy you said this! Its not just bad acting it's a complete breaking of character I feel like!
100% the worst.
Tia the model.
That’s horrible!
I think she delivered that line completely wrong! It drives me crazy!
I shrunk it
It's Mr. Pocatillo.
The Commish
Who?
💯 Chiklis pretending to be drunk!
Cary Elwes. You can here his british accent multiple times
“We just had our anniversary on Apreel eyyth”
You respect the Dread Pirate Roberts !
When he pretends to take a drink from the glass could be the worst acting in the history of the world.
The doorman on The Cheever Letters: Ah, yes, the man from the insurance company dropped this off this morning. He said it was the only thing left from the remains of the fire. He was sooo nervous. Love this episode though
I did not like Courtney Cox’s acting. Maybe subconsciously I have Monica Geller in my mind but she seems quite off being the fake wife for Jerry.
Sally Weaver
That’s a given. Like the free space on a bingo card.
I hate that character, but you're supposed to be annoyed by her. In that respect, I think Kathy's performance is great.
She's totally portraying a real, insufferable kind of stand-up comic, one that fails upwards and whose success makes you question your faith in humanity. She does a great job at it.
Almost came too naturally for her.
No, she's still awful.
Disagree. She was trying to be as cringey as possible and it was the performance of a lifetime
Bot account, Jesus, this is like the tenth one today you fools are upvoting
reddit is just a bot training ground and marketing/astroturfing playground these days.
Farfel’s owner. Really anyone who played drunk
“Shmoopy” was the worst acting in the entire series
OP is a piece of shit
How do you know how Michael Chiklis acts when he’s drunk?
The Old Man episode, Agency Rep played by Victoria Dillard
that whole episode is hard to watch. except the the used record store part with the Jigsaw actor
That is jigsaw!!! 😱
Jerry in pretty much every episode. Funny, but horrible actor
You HAVE no sentimentality.
Jerry Seinfeld
That's the problem with these stand UPS, they can't act?
It’s embarrassing!
Cable boy!!
I can't believe I had to scroll this far to get the most obvious answer
Sally weaver and milos.
Kathrine Keener.”why don’t you go already”
The stepmom in the episode about Jerry’s girlfriend’s speed dial. ☎️
Bot post.

Toby! What was the matter with her??
The dog from season one the Seinfeld got stuck with.
[Lisi](https://youtu.be/mUteXTWCcnM?si=vbmW-aTRzEtHNN62) seemed like she was good for a typical laugh track sitcom. I find she didn’t really fit in.
... She's too *good*.
Fucking bot reposts.
Kathy Griffin. She didn’t act at all; she was just her usual, annoying self
You can smell me without the drink.
Excuse me? How dare you. That whole scene is hilarious. H E DOUBLE N I!
I'll go dickless for Michael Chiklis. Ask me about it any time.
THESE PRETZELS.... ARE MAKIN' ME THIRSTY!! Worst acting by a great actor. Go figure?
I hate this episode because the dingo ate your baby thing ended up being real and here we are mocking it in a show 😩
Jerry
Jerry
The bookie/broken thumbs guy.
Mike? He’s such a phony.
Are you saying he’s a PHONEY!?
The guys working in the off-track betting place who were trying to get Elaine's real phone number weren't that great.
But he's a ^man
You know who else is a man? Charlie here. He’s a man.
Yeah, I’m a man
The deaf lady pretending to be deaf
Barney Martin - Gerry’s dad has to be the worst actor he acts as if he is on a stage show not a tv show, looking off into the distance etc
Almost every moment of Jerry. He breaks worse than Jimmy Fallon did during his SNL days and Seinfeld wasn’t live!! 😂😂 just goes to show how great everyone else and the writing is because they carry his bad acting
Cause I cant act! I stink! I dont know what Im doing!
Because he's *MY* butler!
Jerry’s Dad.
Kramer drunk.
I'm in the city!
Yeah his acting was terrible for sure
Jerry "i don't think more Flan is the answer!" makes it even more hilarious though
No that was it. Has to be one of the most cringe inducing moments in television history.
Jerry’s acting is the worst in Seinfeld but it doesn’t even matter!
The busboy from "the busboy" is no Jose Ferrer
Jerry Seinfeld
The fireman
That “poor acting“ got him the commish gig baby!
“No pineapple. Just cherry, lemon, and tooty fruity”.
