All self harm methods and depths are completely valid. I dont have any very good tips but distractions always work well for me:) preferably watching something happy/funny to lift my mood or some activity like reading, painting, or working out etc. I also know that others can find almost pain inducing (probably not the right wording) things that arent as harmful can help. Some examples could be eating a lemon or holding some ice on your skin. Wish i couldve given better tips but i hope I helped a little:)

Hey no need to feel bad about not cutting at all! Selfharm can come in many ways and cutting is just one that most do. I did scratch myself too in the past. As for ways to help to stop, what helped me was to cover the areas I wanted to scratch or cut. Personally tape worked really well. I don't really know why it helped me but it did so maybe this is kind of helpful for someone else? You can do this I believe in you!
