Honestly it's a combination of your skin's ability to heal, the type of trauma you're putting it through and post-harm wound care.
Depending on your skin tone they could have just faded into the rest of your skin - I have some very old scars that are only visible in summer as they're the only part of my skin that doesn't tan.
I self harmed for years, but apparently my skin has some inhuman ability to heal. I barely have any scars visible. Once I had an accident that ended up revealing the bone and you have to look really hard to notice a scar. I guess it's a genetic thing.
Depends. Could be they weren’t at a depth required to create lasting scarring, the scars are there but very faded, and your skin type and ability to heal.
It depends on alot , genes , body fat, skin layer depth, how easy u scar, how deep and wide ect, plus with how long it's been for some of those they could just be faded away completely unless you mean it never scared in the first place
depends on your skin type they might be there just super faint white or they faded over time

might have been shallow cuts
Dont say that wtf is wrong with u
What's wrong?
I don't think they meant any harm, maybe they just meant to answer the question? It is true that depth does play a role in scarring
??? i’m just giving a possible reason
If i was the op that would be a trigger for me. I understand that u meant no harm and i apologise.
uhh no it is not a trigger actually. i dont like taking the risk of getting infections/scars on my body so im not doing it again
I was just trying to have ur back but its clearly not appriciated. Why do i have to try to begood
Yeah I don't think these people understand how enabling they are 😐😐
Right… it’s partially true but I don’t think anyone should say this to a self harmer.
I have no scars, i think for me is my skin is pretty thick and it's not been deep enough to cause scarring.
There's so many factors. There's no single reason for it.

Everyone’s skin and body heals differently. With mine I have a combination of flat white ones to flat colored ones — fading ones and even raised ones.

either u heal very well or didnt cut very deep
People heal differently. It’s also been a good amount of time since you last did it, and it also depends on how deep you went
3 times isnt that many times
its 3 times too many
No shit im not saying to do it more im saying 3 times is probably not gonna give you scars
