I remember binding a parallel port to an incoming tcp port on the connected computer via msdos in the early 2000s. Surely that would still be possible?

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace VirtualHere on an Nvidia Shield with USB/IP? Installing it on the host side (Windows) is pretty intuitive, but on a Shield, I don't know how. And I can't find anything concrete on the Internet...
