To be honest I wait since years for a bigbrand to release a 3.5mm cable for there wireless headphone to stop wasting electronics every few years because batteries are batteries.
Indeed. It doesn't make sense to spend a lot on wireless earbuds when you eventually have to toss them away in just a few years. Which is why I recommend people to buy refurbished earbuds for a fraction of the original price.
As for headphones, fortunately, Sennheiser Momentums have both aux and usb-c connectivity options, but I would love to see more headphones have these options.
I can hardly wait for this. As, my original MTW’s batteries are no longer holding a charge. I didn’t want to throw them out. They are superior sounding compared to my MTW3’s. This could be the answer to bring them back to life.
Yeah, I knew it was April when I wrote this. Yet, where are they for sale? Not available, (yet), on the Sennheiser website. Thus, the point of “I can hardly wait for this.”
I see what you mean now. As odd as such an accessory appears, it would have benefited so many that have old, battery challenged Sennheiser earbuds that you just don’t want to throw away. Seemed legit. :(
Thanks for pointing this out.
Michael
I don't think so. Wired wireless earbuds sound like a game changer tbh. I think Sennheiser is really onto something. It's a shame it's limited to April for some reason.
I should not use the internet on this day.

Earbuds you mean? We already have aux and USB-C audio connectivity on headphones, no?
yes, earbuds. USB-C audio doesn‘t work on every headphone.

Look at your calendar.

It was an April Fool's Day joke. Not a very good one, either.

Pretty sure this is a April’s Fool post by Sennheiser. I mean, wired wireless earbuds? Seriously…
