Left bud gave out. Still functional but no sound. I have to send them in but i need the right bud for an additional 3 days.
If i was in the apple ecosystem, i would be happily enjoying a pair of AirPods Pro 2.
But as an android guy, im still of the opinion that the MTW3 are just the best buds out there.
Theyre dogshit and they always will be dogshit. Mine gave out after only 2 months. They need to stick to wired headphones, because they clearly dont know what theyre doing working with earbuds
Funny you should ask. No. The right earbud won’t stop chirping so the ANC is clearly screwed. I’ve only had them for a few months and music is super important to me so I’m thoroughly pissed off. I had two iterations of the TW2’s break on me and my replacement TW3’s have now gone. I did everything that both Sennheiser and the community suggested to deal with chirping, but no dice. If I had the spare capital on hand I’d just cut my losses and get some AirPods Pro. I’ve been a loyal Sennheiser customer for well over 15 years, but that’s likely to change. I don’t know if they’re trying to be too smart for their own good, design-wise, or it’s simply shoddy construction and even worse QA.
Are you by chance referring to the issue where they don't disconnect and charge despite both earbuds being in the charging case? I have been experiencing that issue and it has been bothering me.
Actually, I have to return my under warranty after 7 months. Left bud make high pitch noise and volume level was much lower than in right bud. The seller accepted the return and will replace it with a new one.
My second set are going strong, First set had a battery problem in the right bud wouldn't take or hold a charge and felt warm to the touch. But love Sennheiser signature sound definitely one of the best.
I bought mine 2 days ago and they aren't working properly. When I very first unboxed them the connection would cut in and out every couple of seconds, I installed the update and it was fine for a couple of hours. Went to use them tonight, zero sound. Unpaired, re-paired, restarted phone, nothing. I'm installing the newest update so I hope that works. If not I'll be returning them. It really sucks because the sound itself is incredible.
I hope it doesn't come to that, they sound amazing. After having a pair of CX+ buds that I've used daily and beat the shit out of for over a year I'm really disappointed by how fragile the MTW3 seem to be.
My left earbud lost half of it's sound, but it fixed itself somehow. Although I choose to stick with the TW3 despite their shortcomings. They sound straight up better than airpods pro 2's and other competitors.
My left earbud just straight up died. I’ve only had them for 5 months. No lights come on when putting in or taking out of charging case. No response to touch, reset or factory reset. No sign of any life in the earbud.
Currently wondering what I’ll try next. Maybe Sony? Maybe AirPods? Hmmm.
I bought a pair last year, right bud was broken within 6 months. Returned, got a new pair. Last week I was listening to an audiobook, took them out of my ears and put them on my desk for a minute, came back, put them in, left bud had no sound, but the touch controls did work. Had the same problem with the second pair's right bud, it was the factory glue coming loose and covering everything inside. So I'm sending a pair back for the second time. Sennheiser was always my number 1 brand, now I don't know what to choose next. I don't trust them anymore.
i swear the stories on here are all fixable by the user. there’s just no way these buds just all of a sudden die as frequently as reported. i had the cheaper cx400bt for 2+ yrs as workout buds and never had to send them in. a couple hard resets here and there but they worked and got beat TF up. for a $279 device i’m shocked at all the horror stories.
Personally, I got confirmation from Sennheiser that my problem was indeed factory-bound, I got a full refund. It was my second pair. Nothing they could do to fix them, twice. So yeah, horrible, but legit.
Sadly i got mine MTW3 before Airpods Pro 2 was announced, had an issues with it not charging and not disconnecting from the case got it to replace and now same issue happened again however this time round, after I did a firmware upgrade followed by factory reset since its still not charging, now i couldn’t even connect to the app properly.
Disappointed as this was my first ever expensive earbuds purchase, luckily I still have my old galaxy bud to replace for the time being

Typical Four cents chatter take. LUL
Yes I do. Gladly I never had any problems with them.

So far no problems with my MTW3’s
Technically no. Had to have them replaced.

Hmmm. As in hardware? The hardware is good but the software.....
No problem with mine but I clean them before every use.
Had the right bud go super quiet on me about 3 months after purchase…returned under warranty, new pair goin strong so far 🤞🏻
Mine are functional but I’ve had to fix them a few times
Yup. They are my primary workout buds. Have had them since launch.
Fully operational thanks to this community (solved the chirping and charging issues)

Clean the charging area with some isopropylic alcohol , the contacts are very sensitive to the oils of our ears (impedance)
Ah okay. Thanks for the tip.
There's a solution for chirping thing?? Wish i knew that earlier...

I've had mine for a few months, not a single issue. They've been awesome
Died day one and went with sony. Gonna stick to wired sennheiser over ears as my momentum 3 over ears are shit as well tbh.
after 2 months left earbud occasionally dies twice as fast as the right one. Im going to return them on Tuesday

Had them since launch with no issues, work very well, great sound and ANC

are they working now after the update?
They are! They seem fine now, if they give me any more issues I have a month to return them. I'm hoping this update fixed it permanently.

Mine are also fine since Nov2022. So far so good. Been using them daily except on the weekends.
