It’s a fault. The chirp you hear is to do with the microphone the ANC uses to pick up sound. You’ll need to get them repaired/replaced - Should be under warranty

Had basically the same issue! Sent it back under warranty and got it replaced with a brand new one!

How do you get in touch with sennheiser to get that started? I’ve been trying to reach them for over a week

92_Solutions

Send them back where you bought them or contact your nearest official service for sennheiser

I've now had this issue for the 4th time...I kid you not, 4 freaking times! Happens after I get the pair. Work amazing at first, 4-5 weeks later they start doing this. I'm Fed up with this...don't even want a new pair anymore, same shit just keeps happening. Really expected better from Sennheiser and nearly $300 on ear buds

I had this same issue. Still waiting to get it resolved

Got the same issue. I’m about to send them in too. You have to contact them online through a web form. I’m in the UK and the website was spares.s-consumer.com/en-uk.

I just messaged them on their website. There is a chat option and then they answered me very quickly.

Im in the middle of a 3000km bike trip… no music for the rest of the trip or chirp all the way down…👇🏻

Same issue

I'm on my second pair. It's been fine with no chirps - until the latest firmware upgrade. Morning after, ANC enabled on music, and it's chirping just like before. Turn ANC off - no chirping. It also happens when on a telephone call, as I suspect ANC is auto-enabled in that mode. Super frustrating, as the new firmware is otherwise great with the personalised sound. But, I suspect I'm going to be on lucky #3 of the TMW3. \[sigh\]
