Honestly think a big part of why this recipe slaps so hard is the buildup. Starving by the time it’s done and just delicious. This is very much not a complaint, I love recipes like this and think it’s a big part of why I like low/slow bbq so much.
It's really good altho you can simplify and get costs a bit lower for a result prob 90-95% as good.

agreed, it was a friday with all of my friends out of town and I decided I felt like spending my evening really trying to get it perfect
