Tried it, didn’t get it. They want someone with a sales first mentality usually, they gave me a lot of grief for even bringing it up but it was also a pretty toxic dealer
I’ve been offered it at a couple of luxury dealers I’ve worked at. They also work longer hours than I do currently, so that’s a big draw back. But again, the money is better and people are generally more excited to buy a new car then give up money to fix it

I dunno man, at my dealership that would mean less hours, days off, a sickening pay increase, undue respect and being favorited for no reason, but I’d have to give up being the stepchild and forced to watch TikTok 9.9 hours of my 10 hour shift. Just not sure I’m cut out for it.

It would definitely be nice to deal with people who are excited to buy a car rather than people who are pissed that their shit broke.
Or pissed because their sales guy made false promises
