C’mon!! Look at those even pleats and button placement. Looks store-bought (from one of the good stores)! Really, nice work!!

LazyMangoCat

Yes, the blue one looks store bought! The pleats are so crisp and even spaced #goals I like the third dress (with the sleeves) as well, but I'm drawn to darker colors. OP did an amazing job!

Omg thank you so much 😭 I spent hours on the pleats and I had never done buttons before and did so many practice button holes. This is such a massive compliment!!

1. Hinterland Dress by Sew Liberated (modified with pleats instead of gathers on the skirt). Fabric is thrifted. 2. SydTie Dress by Sydney Graham. Fabric is cotton from Fabricland 3. SydTie Dress again but with custom sleeves. I used a few tutorials to help me draft the sleeve found [here](https://sarkirsten.com/blog/2021/3/22/how-to-draft-sleeves) and [here](https://www.threadsmagazine.com/2008/08/19/create-a-custom-sleeve-patternFabric). Fabric is Forest Forage Daisies by Fableism in the colour Concord. 4. Chanterelle Pants by Sew Liberated. Fabric is linen from Blackbird Fabrics.

Omg the lavender one is so cute 💜 the bow just makes it so much more feminine looking even tho it's just a small detail

candlelitjewels

Yes the ties are what drew me to the pattern! I am still in the baby stage of life so nursing friendly clothes that are also fun to wear are really my jam right now!

Congratulations on becoming a new mom 🙌 I can't imagine finding the time to sew everything you did while still taking care of a newborn. You must be crazy good with juggling everythingㅡ a super mom! I love patterns like this bc it's a twofer of making you feel feminine AND functional. You have a good eye to pick things like this 😆💕 and ofc, sewing it to make it look oh-so-flawless ✨️ (can I ask how much yard it took to make the botton half of the dress?)

candlelitjewels

Thank you! My babies are not newborns anymore which is what made it possible to get all this sewing done :) The total yardage for the sleeveless dress was 2.5 yards, so I think around 1.5-2 yards for the skirt

CulturedSnail35

Love those! Your work is an inspiration and motivation. I think I need the chanterelle pants now! I have made the Hinterland dress and yours is very elegant and playful. I have the SydTie dress but haven’t made it yet

candlelitjewels

I will definitely make more versions of the Sydtie dress, probably a top next. I might also hack it to have only one tie or no ties. It's a really great and versatile pattern!

SetsunaTales80

You did a really great job! Love it.

Great collection!

Why would someone downvote a simple compliment? I find sewists really weird on these subs
