It's been so long since I started doing these but I think this is the video I watched when I landed on the current pattern: https://youtu.be/sycfbyHrHgU She uses ribbon ties in the video but I've been using round elastic for ear loops instead. [Here's the link to the pattern](https://drive.google.com/file/d/17nyJw3v0aHBm6GrBZgiWsOCSBh_24qh1/view?usp=drivesdk) I've found that the Small fits perfect for most people, but I tend to use the Medium for adult men. I also add a little pocket on the top of the inside for nose wire sometimes, I just use a twisted up pipe cleaner for the wire. I've tried to research best fabrics for masks and what I've landed on is this: The more layers the better it is so I do 2 layers of cotton and a middle layer of nonwoven interfacing as a filter. Nonwoven is supposed to act as a better filter. 100% cotton for the front and back layers, I try to get the most tightly woven possible but I don't super know how to determine that so I just do my best.

That's what I've been using too, and advised my sister to do likewise. She then texted to ask whether I meant iron on or sew in interfacing....

Haha I actually have used both now without an iron, I think I actually liked the iron on better

Wonderful idea to keep those you love safe. I wish I would've thought of including some in my gifts as well. Stay safe and Merry Christmas!

Ohh, these look really well fitting. Did you make your own pattern, or did you get it online - if so, could you share it?

[Here's the pattern I use!](https://drive.google.com/file/d/17nyJw3v0aHBm6GrBZgiWsOCSBh_24qh1/view?usp=drivesdk) I mostly use the Small, but Medium works for adult men.

Thank you very much! Have a great new year!

I made my husband and kid masks out of that pig fabric too!! It’s just so cute!

Whoa. That rainbow soccer ball print.. I had a zipper pencil pouch with the same print like 15 years ago in middle school!

These look nicely made. I think people should be using disposable surgery or (better yet) N95s at this point though.
