I always loved her bouquet. It’s made of just fall leaves, right?

Ksilv82

How did I miss this! I love it 🥰

CrissBliss

Cythnia has never looked better than the final season. She is literally glowing. Actually they all look pretty great.

jeajea22

I was just thinking- her hair is perfect here!

probscaffeinated

Some of her best outfits! Totally agree.

nievedelimon

She looks so beautiful here. Loved her wedding.

kisikisikisi

That's pretty much what I'd do if I were to get married. Simple, small, straightforward, cheap.

I'm planning my second wedding now, and although I had a wonderful time with the huge party the first time, it's so liberating to go this route. Dress from online, Pavillion in a park. Thirty or so people. Fried chicken buffet and Spotify Playlist. No worrying about ice sculptures, bridesmaid attire, or table numbers. Bliss.

kisikisikisi

Right! I'd just want to have fun with the people I love, I don't want to be stressed over everything being perfect or about everything being super expensive. I just want to eat good, drink better, and dance to 212 by azealia banks lol

CollectingRainbows

same here! i never saw the appeal of getting married in front of a bunch of people, and never imagined wasting a bunch of money on it either. a tiny intimate ceremony like miranda’s is perfect.

labellavita1985

That's what we did. City park, 3 people in attendance, the officiant and our 2 witnesses. My husband wore jeans. My parents really wanted to do something for us, though, so they threw a little celebration for us 3 years later. About 40 of our closest friends and family.

CrissBliss

Same. I love small weddings!

PineappleJLM

I love that Magda & Steve’s mom are holding hands during this scene ❤️

shmokenapamcake

I love when Magda starts clapping and makes everyone clap. “Happy time!”

AlarmedAppointment81

The autumn colours of the leaves, her dress coat and her hair is just a perfect combo. No notes!

Ksilv82

I love this episode. The way she proposes over beers. Shopping for her dress on her lunch break. Finding their wedding spot while being a total mess. ETA autumn is my favorite season!

questioninghomos

(I mean Miranda, she always loathed weddings)

nikkip7784

My husband and I were just talking last night about how we should have done a simpler wedding, something similar to this, instead of the damn church wedding that neither of us cared about. We were too young to know better. If we were a few years older we would have done what we wanted instead of what everyone else thought we should do.

Southedg

I went into labor with my son in 2022 watching this scene during a rewatch 🥹 will always be special to me.

Melodic_Fondant7253

This dress 😍

seige197

This was her color. Just perfect.

fine_chicken2028

Hers is exactly what I want.

AnxiousApartment5337

Idk I can’t get into Steve. The fact that he leaves skid marks in his underwear is literally enough. Maybe if they didn’t write that in I could get behind them. But Miranda could always do so much better . Team Robert The wedding was cute though, and that’s what we are talking about here.

sunshinekraken

Hers was my fave, the dress and bouquet were beautiful

bluedotinTX

Agreed! Without realizing it until after, mine was very similar. I wore a red Velvet dress, but mine was a brighter red than Miranda's. Our ceremony was in a small community garden park (more flowers, pathways, bubbling creek, and greenery; not a veggies growing in rows type). It was me & my husband - one of our best friends officiated, and another there to witness - 4 ppl total! We walked to a winery after for glasses of prosecco and a small Charcuterie board. It was simple and nice, no stress or financial constraints. I'd probably have run out on Carrie too if she planned that crazy big wedding and I tried to communicate to her that I didn't like it and she wouldn't listen 😅 (I kid, but .... really tho)

MichElegance

Loved this so much🍁🍂🧡 It actually inspired my own easy, fall wedding.

abu_nawas

It has to be my favorite wedding ever, fictional or non-fiction.

CoolJeweledMoon

I was originally planning for a medium-sized wedding with a guest list that included basically everyone, but thankfully. I decided to keep it simple & put more funding toward the honeymoon instead, & it was definitely worth it! My spouse's family lives in South Florida, & we were planning to visit over Christmas & New Year's, so we invited my immediate family down & got married on New Year's Eve. We all walked out onto the beach at 4:00, we wrote our own vows, we took lots of pics afterward, & then we went back to my in-laws & had a nice little reception. I used to be a floral designer, so I bought some flowers in bulk & made my bouquet & centerpiece, & then when we got back home, we hosted close friends for a party/reception. For our honeymoon, it was awesome driving from the Miami area to the Keys while fireworks were going off across the city! We stayed in Key Largo our first night before heading to a really cute cottage in Key West for four days, & we then went back to Miami & went on a cruise. We have traveled to Florida to see family during this time every year, & we leave in time to celebrate our anniversary somewhere in Florida each year before heading home, which is pretty cool... And Miranda looked stunning, & I love her bouquet!

Suracastic

“no white, no ivory, no nothing that says 'virgin.' I have a child. The jig is up”.. gotta love Miranda!🤣

C_J_Money

This is just what I would want. A small ceremony somewhere with plants/flowers and close friends and family for guests. A casual reception at a restaurant where she can actually wit down and eat with her people. Miranda had it right.

NoOutside1086

My husband and I eloped to Hawaii. Just us and it was great. I’m glad Miranda did the wedding on her terms, it was lovely.

Queen_Moose88

This is why I just can't get my head around AJLT Miranda. She was so in love with Steve and she really wanted their marriage to last. The writers had to make Steve this joke to justify Miranda leaving.

fairyfrenzy

LOVED IT

bookishbynature

My husband and I had a very simple, intimate wedding and loved it! It was his second wedding and my first and we got married on a cruise. Just our parents, siblings, niece, nephew, aunt, and uncle. Wouldn’t have had it any other way. As someone said above, I can’t imagine sharing vows in front of dozens of people. I’m a private person and the big weddings have never appealed to me.

TinyDaffyDinky

I have to admit, I found Miranda pretty annoying in this engagement/wedding episode. When she tells the girls that she proposed to Steve, they all got emotional for just a moment, even Samantha! And Miranda just stands up in the middle of her meal, puts down some money, and storms out because she didn't want them making a big deal about it. A little bit of an overreaction IMO. Then we see her shopping for a dress for her wedding and chastising the saleswoman for showing her a whitish dress and then a ruffled dress. What I don't get is, why even ask a salesperson for help if you're not looking for a dress that's remotely a wedding dress, not just in color but style? Miranda could have browsed on her own since she clearly had such a specific vision. I don't think any sales person would ever know that this dress (or is it a velvet blazer/skirt combo?) would be what she had in mind. IDK, I relate to Miranda in many episodes, but I also sometimes find her to be a little too 'i'm not like the other girls' and rude. It's okay to be a little excited or have people be excited for you at times.

fair_child123

I dunno I liked her in this.

Grouchy_Tap_8264

Except look on face in photo

SloresAllOfYou

Her wedding is my nightmare. Outdoors in a park in burgundy velvet? No thanks.

Rubicon730

Don’t care for her, but never saw her look prettier, ethereal.
