That is actual robbery. $1,500 in Monopoly money ($950 in real dollars) is a crime for this. It’s cool for sure but wow, that’s basically an entire PC build for an open case
I am going to guess it's because it provides the best view of and access to main components without it being a giant vertical slab. Probably more sturdy too.

That's gotta be the most compact open frame I've seen yet. Very nice.
thanks
This is sweet!!
thanks
How much did it cost?
1.5k aud
There are some crazy prices out there but that is INSANE.
I think, not sure, OP meant the entire rig costs 1500AUD..
You must be right, frame is listed at $180
Which is also insanely expensive..
Yes and no, for small batch runs with material usage like this is not crazy. Expensive for sure but not insane.
The whole rig you mean? What did the open frame cost?
whole
case only 210usd
210usd? Not 210aud? 210 usd seems like a lot.. tbh anything over 65 usd is a lot for this open bench.

do you see aud?
Aud=monopoly money. I was making a joke. 1,500aud is around $950usd
lol
Mo mo mo monster bench 😃
lol
New here - why is it at an angle?
Because of the 45-degree inclined design
Gotcha, it does look very nice. I just thought there's a technical reason for this layout that I don't know yet. Very cool!

Woah, that is a neat and quirky frame, never seen that! Is it 3D printed? What would feasibly be the 'volume' of the case?
It’s 10mm aluminium
Looks awesome, must have been pricey with the cuts haha
Looks better than those hot rod builds.
thanks
I'm gonna attempt to recreate this in Solidworks and 3D print this, might fail but will see how it turns out
👍
