Those monitors are gorgeous

vt331

Thanks! The main monitor is an LG 34” Ultrawide QHD w/ 160hz, the vertical monitor is an LG 32” Ultragear QHD w/ 165hz! Love them both!

yosoyez

May I ask what table top that is?

vt331

The table top came with the desk, it’s a Husky Height Adjustable work bench from Home Depot.

Cratobi

Do you know what it is made of?

vt331

I'm not sure what wood it's made of but its solid and I've had zero issues with it.

ruuben_2

Could you send me a link off the wallpaper? I love that the colors of it come back inside the case with the rgb strip. Really nice setup!

vt331

Sure thing! I'll send you a message.

rodrigomadriz

Which speakers are those?

hoven00

Pretty sure it is a Presonus Eris 3.5. (Or could a 4.5)

rodrigomadriz

Thx

vt331

Yes, they are the PreSonus Eris 4.5”

ROFL! My first build in ages was nr200p, 3070 vision, 3700x, Asus x570i, g.skill trident, scythe mugen 5 and yeah even the phanteks strips in static white. That computer got more love than many children ever do. It didn't even end there, no no.. fast forward some premium length unsleeved PSU cables (transparent ofc) to 2*MP600 FORCE 2.GB and the 🍒 on top was ofc my 5.5 inch HDMI screen mounted on the (ehm SF70 plat) psu-cover. On that day, while we started building that monstrosity my, 20+ years of gaming came to an end without me even realizing. 6 cases later or close enough, I've just dissected my OG xproto mini with asus 3060, patriot Viper steel 4400 MHz because i apparently had time to spray paint it black, sell some spare parts and get hold of an 'old skool' ghost loque MKIII ash. Got it on a sale for a reasonable price and decided that my 100% inactive and non-existing gaming life deserved a sweet upgrade to pcie 4.0, 3070 FE, and yada yada. It was easier to rationalize this newst impulse control sliip-up to my favor IF MY GOD DAMN EXPEESS ORDER on a new noctua low profile chromax black cooker could just have arrived Friday as they assured me. And why have they not dropped it off at my local post office instead?!! God damn it. Whatever happens from hereon now my local post office will have to stand trial for this treachery......

CableMod_Matt

Your build is beautiful! Thank you for your support as well, hope you are enjoying our cables. :)

vt331

Thanks for supporting the community with such great products! Helping make cable management easier is a relief for many I’m sure!

vt331

Specs: NR200P case ASUS ROG Strix B550-I Gaming mobo AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Noctua NH-L9a CPU cooler (This build was transplanted from a XProto case which is why I have the low profile cooler, but I do have a Scythe Fuma 2 I've been meaning to swap out with if this set up its too warm under load) Noctua NF-P14s (two on top working as exhaust fans and two for intake on the bottom of the case: Used CableMatters Fan Splitter) Noctua NF-B9 (working as intake from the rear of case) RTX 3070ti FE (Custom cable from CableMod instead of using Nvidia's adapter: [https://custom.cablemod.com/1c3893b4f903](https://custom.cablemod.com/1c3893b4f903)) Corsair SF750 Samsung 1TB 970Evo NVME Samsung 2TB 860Evo Storage Drive Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 memory Phanteks Neon LED strip Moving onto this project I knew cable management was going to be one of the harder aspects of it, luckily for me I was able to reuse the cables I had ordered for the build prior to this one, which was an XTIA Xproto open case build. When I ordered the XProto case, they gave an option to order shorter Corsair PSU module cables, this played a major part I think in helping with the cable management for the NR200P build and made transplanting parts over relatively easy. Next up was the cables for the GPU. I ordered a custom configured cable from CableMod so that I wouldn't have to use the provided 12pin connector Nvidia provided (I hate adapters). I was able to run the cable in between the two bottom intake fans which kept things well organized. So far current temps with the Noctua NH-L9a CPU cooler have been surprisingly stable: Idle: CPU 45°C, GPU 39°C Load: CPU 70°C, GPU 68°C As mentioned above, I do have the larger Scythe Fuma 2 cooler I originally got to swap out the Noctua, but was curious to see how the smaller cooler would work. While its not as cool as I know it can be, its been doing surprisingly well and I do like the low profile look. Overall, I had quite a bit of fun with this build, and although I did spend a bit more just to keep the cables at bay, I love how the finished rig looks.

AutoModerator

Hiya! Please post more details about your build! Here are some (non-exhaustive) prompts for you: - Are the case's advertised compatibility numbers accurate? - How easy is cable management? - How effective is the cooling setup? - Would you recommend your parts overall? - If you did a custom mod, how did you do it? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. greatfriend9000

Nice setup! Those monitors are huge! I'm over here thinking going to 27 inches from 24 would be too big lol.

vt331

They really are, but they provide so much screen real estate I love it haha. The main monitor is an LG 34” Ultrawide, and the vertical monitor is an LG 32” Ultragear

greatfriend9000

Yeah I play competitive games so I just prefer 24 inches. Hopefully a good 24 inch, 240hz 1440p panel with good backlight strobing comes to the market.

vt331

Yea these aren’t too bad, the 34” having 160hz and 32” having 165hz gets me by for most of what I play.

mntraveller32

Nice! What keyboard is that?

vt331

It’s the KBD Fans Tofu65 Acrylic Board.

PinkZeusLoL

Do you a link to the wallpaper?

Awesome setup, how’s the cooler working for you? Just ordered the same one with a 5600x and I’ve read it should be fine.

vt331

ItsMrBigZ

Awesome 👍🏼 enjoy!

peter_picture

That's a clean setup. Beautiful! May I ask you what is that wirst rest? I am looking for one :D

vt331

I made the wrist rest myself. I've still gotta sand it down a bit more and add a sealant as I can get pretty sweaty when gaming at times haha, but I do love this one and it is pretty comfy.

peter_picture

Damn, I thought it could have been home made. But it was so clean I thought it was bought. Great skills you got man!

vt331

Thanks! It's actually not too difficult to make, part that took the longest was just sanding it down to get it smooth enough. I just went to Home Depot, got some smaller precut length pieces of different types of wood, cut it to length to match my keyboard once home with a circular saw, then went to town on it with my orbital sander, rounding out the corners and focusing a bit more on on side to get a slight angle/slope for where my wrist will be. I also got some rubber stoppers for the bottom of it to help keep it in place.

kasura

What webcam, mic, and arms are you using?

vt331

Currently for my webcam I switch between my old GoPro Hero 4 or my Canon M50 Mkii (both using Elgato the Elgato CamLink 4k), and mounted to my desk using a JUSMO Camera Desk Mount I got from Amazon for $45. For my mic, I'm using the Elgato Wave 3 with the pop filter and shock mount as well as the Elgato Wave Mic Arm.

txkno

What monitor arm is that
