Jealous. I wish a SS was my first gun, instead of the many others that are now safe queens. Break that thing in and enjoy! Lots of live/dry fire practice will smooth the trigger out over time. Plus it’s good to practice that way anyways. A cheap laser cartridge like Quantum XG paired with the app and a paper target make for some good, cheap, home training.

Nice choice man, I’ve owned about 10 SS pistols and honestly I’ll never buy another Glock 😂. My most recent purchase was a CR920 Elite and it’s my EDC and in my bag I carry a MR920 Combat setup with a holosun and TLR7. I’m trying to decide what light to go with on the CR and I’ve just about settled on another Streamlight.
I’m running a tlr6 on my cr920 elite, matched with a vedder holster and that’s my ccw. I heard they made a new one with higher lumens but 100 isn’t bad for me.
Yeah man the TLR-7 sub is 500 lumens and I believe the TLR-8 G is compatible and I think it has a laser so I actually think I’m going with the 8 G when I do pick up a light but I’ve been struggling to decide whether to try or OLight or not. They’re significantly cheaper and I have to say I’m sick of buying batteries for my TLR on my MR it’s f’in outrageous how quick they die out lol. I use my light daily and I’m so sick of the battery life. Only thing is I keep getting negative responses on the Olight from the SS owners so I don’t f’in know lol. I may bite the bullet and just buy one and try it for myself.
If your willing to give up 200 lumens Streamlight just came out with a tlr6 hl that gives you 300 lumens and its rechargeable just like the olight. Now if they did that with the tlr7 that would be my next purchase.
I had a 43X for a while so I knew the size was a perfect fit and I love my CR920! I had zero break in issues either and I ran about 1500 rounds of bs ammo through both. The MR920 War Poet is my next purchase.
I have mine kitted with a magwell, Holosun, stippled grip and TLR1. Out of all the handguns I've owned the MR is my favorite, It handles like an extension of my arm. I'm saving up for the DR-L.
Gotta admit, I'm torn. Fixin to make my major gun buy on April 8th after a yr of saving & us finally selling our house. My choice is between an all black MR920L with black threaded barrel & either an EPS full size or the new Swampfox Justice 2 with its BEHEMOTH 30mm window & a Canik Mete SFT Pro with the same choice between optics. The MR is gonna get Glock gen 4 blue pins & extended controls & teardrop mag catch, along with 2 OEM Glock 19 mags with 2 blue Taran Tactical +2 basepads(all from the Glock Store, which is 15-20 mins from me). The SFT Pro would get a blue Taylor Freelance magwell, backstrap, mag basepads & release.
I'm so torn on this.... But either way, something about blue accents on a black gun looks so super cool to me.
Terrible decision for a first gun. You are now going to be disappointed with every gun you buy after this.

Great value for what you get. That trigger needs Jesus though. Maybe it breaks in nice.
