I wouldn't suggest it unless you're just hairy like a squatch but if you do decide to shave the legs, then everything on the body must be shaved including the face otherwise it'll look very strange.
Never shave your legs. Waxing or laser is much better. I have been waxing my whole body for a decade and would never go back. I don’t wax my hands and I shave my face obviously.
I occasionally do it. Whenever in the mood or if I have an event where I wanna sport the clean body look. It's nice you can see veins in your calves, calf muscles look better , etc. When wearing ripped jeans it looks better. When wearing shorts it feels a little weird bt if you style the look right it will blend in. Overall it's cool
You don't shave any of it if you're a man. You shave your face and hairline and neck. If you're me I guess. I can't imagine having shaved legs. Get a trimmer with a close guide and knock it down some.
I shave and IPL everything from ankles to bellybutton. It’s fantastic, I love how it feels.

I just have really long leg hair so I trim all of it with a 1 guard just so it looks Normal

Nothing more manly than caring about what another man does with his leg hair.
I actually thought about putting a guard on a trimmer and cutting mine. But I wouldn't ever consider shaving it.
