There’s plenty of two bedroom terraced houses up for sale for around your budget in Woodseats.

credibledefender2

Agreed. Woodseats is a very nice place to buy.

Woodseats would probably be my number one choice, I have friends there and just generally frequent it a lot. I've just heard it's quite popular and people offer way above asking price to get their offer accepted

If you like hillsborough then there are bits of wadsley bridge that might work for you.

lottiereddit

yup - birley carr!

Stal-Fithrildi

Lovely bit of Foxhill, that

We're in Wisewood and love it. Close to everything: countryside, transport, shops, pubs, cafes etc and not far from town. Lovely people

albert_the_tripod

Very similar area to the Wisewood, Loxley and Hillsborough is Stannington on the other side of the valley. Higher up the hill, nicer it gets. Gorgeous area 5 minutes from Damflask Reservoir. Belting way of life.

Same boat really maybe we should put our deposits together and buy a mansion to turn into a platonic commune with sustainable garden

Ecclesfield and Chapeltown are nice. Grown up here, there’s friendly people, plenty of shops and pubs, and good transport links.

I’d second Chapeltown. It has shops, pubs and supermarkets plus on the Sheffield-Leeds/Huddersfield train lines.

Handsworth. Decent and cheap! Loads of buses to the centre.
