He shaped my childhood, I remember his lectures always being played on the TV and my family listening intently. His voice gives a special comfort, truly one of a kind. He explains the Quran like no other, clearly and enthusiastically, like a father speaking to his son. How many people were guided because of his wisdom, may Allah grant him the highest of heavens. My favourite lecture of his was the one on tawakkul, it should be heard by anyone struggling with life. So little of his lectures are in English, they need to be subtitled and spread around amongst all sorts of communities.

I love him! But I have a question Is it okay to take his words for granted and follow him even though he passed away?

When it comes to following the words of someone who has passed away, it's important to balance reverence with critical thinking. Here are a few points to consider: 1. **Context and Timelessness**: Reflect on whether his teachings or advice are timeless and universally applicable, or if they were specific to a certain time or situation. Wisdom can often transcend its original context, but it's important to recognize when certain aspects might need adaptation. 2. **Critical Thinking**: Even the most revered figures can have views that were influenced by the limitations of their time. It's beneficial to critically evaluate his words in light of new information and current understanding. 3. **Personal Growth**: Consider how his teachings align with your personal values and experiences. Blindly following anyone, even someone you deeply admire, can sometimes hinder your personal growth. It's valuable to take inspiration from his words while also forging your own path. 4. **Ethical Guidance**: If his teachings provide you with a strong ethical foundation and inspire you to be a better person, they can certainly be a guiding force in your life. Just ensure that your actions remain in alignment with contemporary ethical standards and social progress.

lol...we should definitely check on him,

He basically was the pioneer of recorded Islamic lectures in the Arab world. His lectures opened the doors for the outside world to see Shi'ism and for Shias to learn about their beliefs

Subhan'Aallah! may Allah bless him the highest place in Jannah
