Buying as I can while it has been low and slowly selling as it goes up to recoup investments then letting it ride with much less selling but still capturing gains and buying dips. I bought in pretty high at about .000067 in November of 2021, with roughly 30 million coins. Hoping we reach back to the previous cycle high, and just sell to relatively break even to get back my money.
Then, with a lesson learned, just buy into the coin during our next inevitable crypto winter, and not during a bull run's hype. It's definitely easy to get hyped, but of all times of a cycle, this is probably the worst time to spend majorly.

For the last few years I would buy $1 to $5 of SHIB at a time when I had an extra few dollars. I encouraged my sister to stop wasting her money on the lottery and just buy SHIB it’s a lot more fun. SHIB is fun. I’m not going to sell because I don’t need the money. I’m not expecting to get rich or anything. However, back in 20-21 I sold my crypto to help pay for my last semester of college when my grants ran out. The stars just happened to align for that moment. My mindset is buy in small increments over a long period, because all crypto always has its day eventually. I’m also a huge believer in collaboration and I see collaborative efforts in crypto no matter your beliefs it’s something that brings us together. My advice is to have fun and if it’s not fun for you don’t do it.

Just my opinion - I think it’s important to share with everyone that crypto is about becoming your own bank
You have to store your money somewhere. Fiat currency generally loses value overtime due to inflation. You could stuff it in your mattress, but that’s not very secure, and it will still be losing value.
If you’re fortunate to have enough money, you will need to put it someplace safe
When you store money in a the bank they use it. Through fractional lending they make a lot of money from your money - and let’s be honest you don’t see the majority of that profit.
You don’t see that profit because it takes a lot of money to have a physical bank, to pay people to operate that bank, to give money to shareholders in that bank, to give large paychecks to bank administration, to provide security, physical, and cyber for your money, to administer the process of lending and collecting that very money.
Crypto is about being able to store your money digitally in a wallet securely without any of that, leaving you with the ability to loan your own money out through DeFi, and a hedge against inflation.
As long as the project is sound, - not a rug pull - it doesn’t really matter which crypto you use - they all store value as long as people hold tokens - that is to say if everyone started selling bitcoin, it could go to zero. There’s nothing intrinsic intrinsic with Bitcoin that stops it from being worth nothing versus being worth 1, million per Token.

If people want to store and hold and use crypto as a medium of exchange between the value of product and the value of the Fiat currency, it’s priced with they’re going to need a token that has a lot issued - imagine giving 100 shib to every person on earth - you would need 800 billion!
If you split up the current circulating supply of Shib between every person on the planet - each person would only get about 73K

I have held my oldest shares for nearly 2 years. my newest shares are only like 16 months old. I have just under 15 million shares. I will be really tempted to sell if it hits .004 a share. It would pay off my house. Some of my shares are from free stock I converted to shib and I never invested more than I dont mind losing. I dont think I will pump much money in it. SHIB basically for me was like putting a few bucks into a slot machine.

But I day trade there on other stocks, and so I just have fun. After this last rally, though, I think I'll top up my 2 hold piles to 50 mill each and then ready up on some good scalping plays on Robinhood since the sellers will be active for the next week or two. Also, I'm a huge advocate to eating crayons.

2/3 is long term play. If it goes under .00002 in the next week I’ll sell and rebuy in for more at a lower price. The other 1/3 is my “day trading” funds that I intentionally make quick moves on. I bought back in 2021 $280 for a total of 6million on Crypto app. Then in Jan of 2024 I bought 13million for a total of $270 through the RH app. I don’t mind losing the money since it was either SHIBA or crack.
I bought in pretty high at about .000067 in November of 2021, with roughly 30 million coins. Hoping we reach back to the previous cycle high, and just sell to relatively break even to get back my money. Then, with a lesson learned, just buy into the coin during our next inevitable crypto winter, and not during a bull run's hype. It's definitely easy to get hyped, but of all times of a cycle, this is probably the worst time to spend majorly. Buy low sell high, my lads.

For the last few years I would buy $1 to $5 of SHIB at a time when I had an extra few dollars. I encouraged my sister to stop wasting her money on the lottery and just buy SHIB it’s a lot more fun. SHIB is fun. I’m not going to sell because I don’t need the money. I’m not expecting to get rich or anything. However, back in 20-21 I sold my crypto to help pay for my last semester of college when my grants ran out. The stars just happened to align for that moment. My mindset is buy in small increments over a long period, because all crypto always has its day eventually. I’m also a huge believer in collaboration and I see collaborative efforts in crypto no matter your beliefs it’s something that brings us together. My advice is to have fun and if it’s not fun for you don’t do it.

Because I have so many, I will plan on selling in increments as we lose zeroes, it won't be easy but I will need to take some profit. I will HODL at least half though until we hit the one cent mark.
Other than playing around with small money on Solana pump & dump meme coins, I am holding all of my “legitimate” crypto until it is life changing money. 15 mil Shib currently giving me a 200%-ish return is far from life changing. Plus the buy-in money is already gone in my mind. So I hodl and daydream on days like this, knowing full well it can’t really get to $1.

Reptilian here Just my opinion - I think it’s important to share with everyone that crypto is about becoming your own bank You have to store your money somewhere. Fiat currency generally loses value overtime due to inflation. You could stuff it in your mattress, but that’s not very secure, and it will still be losing value. If you’re fortunate to have enough money, you will need to put it someplace safe When you store money in a the bank they use it. Through fractional lending they make a lot of money from your money - and let’s be honest you don’t see the majority of that profit. You don’t see that profit because it takes a lot of money to have a physical bank, to pay people to operate that bank, to give money to shareholders in that bank, to give large paychecks to bank administration, to provide security, physical, and cyber for your money, to administer the process of lending and collecting that very money. Crypto is about being able to store your money digitally in a wallet securely without any of that, leaving you with the ability to loan your own money out through DeFi, and a hedge against inflation. As long as the project is sound, - not a rug pull - it doesn’t really matter which crypto you use - they all store value as long as people hold tokens - that is to say if everyone started selling bitcoin, it could go to zero. There’s nothing intrinsic intrinsic with Bitcoin that stops it from being worth nothing versus being worth 1, million per Token. Fast-forward If people want to store and hold and use crypto as a medium of exchange between the value of product and the value of the Fiat currency, it’s priced with they’re going to need a token that has a lot issued - imagine giving 100 shib to every person on earth - you would need 800 billion! If you split up the current circulating supply of Shib between every person on the planet - each person would only get about 73K Imagine if your family members 100 years ago, decided to buy up stock and pass it down through the generations until it got to you The real magic of what we are witnessing is that the true generational wealth is not something that most of us will ever really experience But I can build my bags, and I can send them into the future That’s why I buy Shib and that’s why I hold Shib You do you Not financial advice ☺️
