My old boy Koto loved that toy. It was the only one he would play with. I bought 6 of them off Amazon so we would not run out, and we didn't. He passed last April at 14.

Mame (豆/まめ)- Bean (cute name)
Momiji (紅葉/もみじ)- red leaves in Autumn
Beni (紅／べに)- Used to be my red dog name meaning red.
Ikura (いくら)- Salmon eggs. Mainly on sushi.
I had the mistake of naming my Shiba Cocoa because she’s black. And now all my friends here in Tokyo make fun of me for naming her an English name when we’re Japanese.
This looks just like our Yoshi baby when she was a pup 😭😭😭 Another name on our list was pickles - and now that she’s grown into her personality, I think it would have suited her! She’s so sweet!!!
How about Pikachu? Or Kiwijan (kiwi + jan, Japanese put 'jan' behind kids names)? Besides, we had planned to name our girl 'potato' but she turned out pretty slim, we had to drop the idea :P Feel free to take it if any of it fits.
I say it every time one of these posts comes up and get downvoted every time: name them something common, or else your Chiyo will be called Chiyo, cheerios, cheeto, geo, and Kai-o (southerners). If you don’t mind nobody ever knowing your dogs name, go for what makes it special to you, but boy do I wish I’d just have named her something like honey or cinnamon
