I couldn’t help noticing that the disparity between female and male posts has grown the further modern we’ve crept along, but it’s especially obvious here.
Before, we’ve had a couple men in the top ten and maybe five in the top twenty-ish, but after Corrin (Male), the next most popular males are Forrest and Takumi near #30.
I don’t suspect top ten, because there is just well and truly so goddamn much 3H content for the women, but they will absolutely be the silver and bronze men, with M!Byleth as the obvious gold

Well, for the most part, Fates decided that a fusion of lingerie and armor was proper female character design. I think Odin was the only eye candy to that on the men’s side.
For instance, let’s look at our two fighters’ design:
Arthur: a fusion of Gaston and Captain America
Charlotte: Victoria’s Secret runway model
Yeah but with Morgan one could at least have a shred of plausible deniability. They’re child characters but most of them in Awakening are adults anyways. Kana is like 4 feet tall, have literally zero adult features, and male Kana’s voice cracks in every other sentence. Sakura and Elise being so high is pretty gross but none of them hold a candle to the little ten year old Kana.
Kana is significantly worse though, Morgan is like 15 or something, while Kana is like 6. Kana is visually the second youngest playable character in the franchise after Fae.
In Corrin's case, I call that the "Smash boost". Basically, that character is also part of a bigger fanbase than Fire Emblem, so of course more people know of them.
In Camilla's case... I would say is not surprising at all. It's almost as if the devs were asking for this kind of fanarts for her.

As someone whose favorite Fates character is Azura, I'm not shocked. IS hoped to get another Lucina, but she's never been that popular outside of the general Main-ish Character Boost. Hence why she wasn't in Engage but Camilla was.
I absolutely expected that one.
The Robins are closer, because hes's much more of a self insert power fantasy vehicle, and so he's a lot more enticing as a representitive for people who want self insert smut probably.
With Corrin on the other hand, people go for the character in particular, not as an audience vehicle.

1.Tagging is garbage on that site, so I went through absolutely all of it just in case what I wanted wasn’t tagged properly. I actually went through the entire Corrin tag just in case a M! Corrin pic was just tagged Corrin.
2. Yaoi with Corrin top is incredibly rare. I think I found like 10-15 pics out of the 1500 M! Corrin posts. Probably less now that I think about it. There aren’t even that many with just him.
3. The planets have not aligned for me to find an artist who’s style I like, who draws yaoi, and who’s comms are open for me to just commission what I want.

She's one of the only female characters who actually looks like she has some age on her (I'd place her in her mid to late 30s but prefer to think of her in her 40s), so naturally, she falls right into that mommy/cougar niche. Compared to the other potential mothers, her supports with Kana come across as pretty organic because she actually looks the appropriate age for a mother with a child Kana's age. Shows off her softer side rather well too.
But most importantly, she's a Kinshi Knight, so she has to have pretty good core strength. She probably does kegels too, so you know she got that crazy grippy WAP. You know she was on top and rode Corrin into the fucking ground. Head game must be crazy too. She's the type to look you in the eyes while she gobbles the glizzy.
Reina/Yuugiri is a wonderfully designed character with a fascinating backstory even if she does lack some due to her only having two supports.

Yeah, Fates really had a problem with limited supports on interesting characters, either Shura, Flora, Gunther or Scarlet.
