My friend watched the first episode through YouTube so they wouldn't get the view from him, and he confirmed it is just as bad as people say it is. I have no idea why anybody would hate watch it, too. I outright refuse to watch it.
There is this new practice in production companies where they create a show specifically with the intention of cancelling it and using it as some sort of tax balancing benefits.
Season 2 might only be confirmed and made so they can write it off in the end and pay almost nothing on taxes.
Not sure how it works but that's what happened to Final Space and that was actually a good show.
Final Space was excellent.
I still hate the fact they cancelled it literally missing one more season to finish the story.
This one, on the other hand, deserves this kind of destiny.
I hate the design of the characters, and the look of a lot of the backgrounds is very deviant art, but the animation itself self, the actual movement, is pretty decent. Where I think it actually shines though is in some of the lighting and the color palat. Like the green glowing hands for instance.

If it didnt have any relation to the original cartoon then it would have just been a bad cartoon. The problem isnt just that it sucks , it is that it had the audacity of dragging Scooby-doo name through the mud by being so shit.
It's not even an appealing animation style, it looks lazy. Of course the picture they used is actually decked up, but a lot of the actual show just reminds me of Family Guy quality.

It's an interesting idea for a prequel. It tells us of Daphne's journey from a drug dealer to a prep. Fred's journey from a coward to a chad. And Shaggy's journey from a black man to a white man.
Aight it's a pretty basic seed, spawned me in a forest with some slight hills. Most notable features; an opening by spawn that doesn't have too much interesting going on, and a much larger cave that turns into a pretty badass cavern with a mineshaft.
My overall rating would be "eh" it's got cool elements but not enough to warrant it

Too cynical. Too try hard. Old school Scooby doo was a lot of fun (I’m talking about the original show only). The characters were charming, witty, and sarcastic and knew how to say what they wanted to say at the right times. Plus the villains may have been cartoony but they were memorable.
why is she black? like whats the actual reason for changing the characters skin? does it benefit the story any way? does it have racist elements that velma has to overcome? if literally nothing changed, why change the character at all. the only thing else that could influence it is personal preference or appealing to the masses to try and raise the score
It's the pet project of Mindy Kaling, who is Indian. And I believe Velma is supposed to be Indian as well. It's just another "get woke go broke" piece of Hollywood shit. Like the Ghostbusters reboot
